In case you missed it, here's my #JakartaEE Tech Talk "Expect the Unexpected" from September: https://buff.ly/4eTLCmd. This is especially useful for less seasoned developers, or those working with younger devs. A lot of us don't think about how errors are being handled, and this results in unexpected errors and erratic behavior. These ideas apply to software development in general, not just Jakarta EE.

I'll be back Before I left Jarkata merely 2 weeks ago, I posted on LinkedIn saying "I'll be back", I didn't have a pair of dark glasses then. Little do I know that I'm actually back in Jakarta this morning. My posts did not mention much about what I have been doing in Jakarta, Indonesia and many of you had asked me about it, either when we meet or through private messaging. Whilst 7-Network has been in the business of IT for more than 32 years, very few know us as software technologist. We build specialised software applications. Given our expertise in software development, we've designed and built JET WORKFLOW, a platform that allows anyone to develop web and mobile apps within minutes. Probably first of its kind in the world, we revolutionize data types so that data in any form (documents, photos, video, chats, GPS coordinates, etc) could be managed within a single record. We've included features and functions that are commonly used, automation and we continue to put in new stuff base on feedback from our customers. Today, JET Workflow evolved as a single platform to manage data in multiple forms which allows users to search for ALL data associated with a transaction, saving time and increase productivity. Another words, a platform that supports Knowledge Management! Hello Jakarta, I'm back! Feel free to engage! Photo shows my new look!

Jakarta - it’s been a while. (You haven’t changed!) Great to catch up with three of KERB’s longest-standing software engineers. Over the past six years, we’ve had a team of up to fifteen engineers in Indonesia. But we’d never really focused on Indonesia as a key market for KERB’s smart parking & mobility products. That’s about to change. Jakarta has one of the worst traffic/congestion/parking problems in the world, with an estimated 23 million vehicles vying for parking. KERB’s technology can unlock - at no cost to the city - many of the hundreds of thousands of parking spaces which sit empty behind security gates for large parts of the day or night. Watch this space for a series of KERB-Indonesia updates. #JakartaCongestion #JakartaTraffic #JakartaParking #IndonesiaSmartParking #IndonesiaSmartCities
