Not for me at Alleyoop! 🏀 I was never much of a gamer growing up, so when my gamer friends talked about having close friendships with people they’d never met in real life, I couldn’t wrap my head around it. 🎮🤷🏻♂️ But after two months on a virtual 𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘳 as a remote SDR, I finally get it. Just the other day, we were laughing up about the shark Snuggie 🦈 on our company Secret Santa wishlist, and the next moment I was asking for feedback on my call recordings. 🎧 If you’re like me, you love the convenience of living anywhere and working from home—but also appreciate having a team by your side every day, whether it’s for support or just to share a good 𝘤𝘩𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘭𝘦 after a 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 cold call. 😅 How do you stay connected with your team while working remotely? #Alleyoop 🏀 #TheUltimateAssist #RemoteWork #SDR #SalesDevelopment #TeamCulture #SalesLife #WorkFromHome #SalesTeam #VirtualSales #RemoteSales

Work from home is not just a "nice-to-have." For some of the top talent, it's a requirement. Many organizations are losing out on top talent because of their RTO policies. Especially in tech & sales, where it's totally changed the game. Let's be real, it definitely takes some serious focus to stay on track remotely. I find creating a dedicated workspace, keeping a routine and setting some boundaries for yourself helps. Thankfully lots of the tech tools today make it easy to hire remotely like Deel where you you can now hire top talent anywhere in the world without worrying about an entity, finding a new payroll tool each time, etc. Then we have tools like Slack that make it easy for teams to still have that sense of togetherness and easy tool for collaboration. For me, the best part of working from home is the balance it gives me. I can get all my work done, and the time I would have used to commute is now being used for family, exercise or just some "me time." --- I am currently hiring for the SDR role here! If being remote & being a SDR at Deel is something you are interested in, reach out! Tell me why Deel & why you'd be a good fit. ✨

Remote SDR work changed my life. Looking back, it’s crazy I had no idea it was possible. 5 things that remote SDR work has taught me: 1. Skills win, but work ethic always speaks volumes. 2. You are one yes away from changing you’re life. 3. Remote means discipline and pushing your own boundaries. 4. Becoming a savage is not an option, but a requirement. 5. Winging it is not sustainable. The list can go on and on, but these are the ones you need to know first and foremost. Being a top performer takes skills. Breaking in takes skills. If you need some motivation, take it from me… I never thought it was possible. Until I said this is what I want. I went out and got it. You can too. #remote #remoteSDR #SDR #sales #dreamforce #saas

Commsor 🦕 is looking for it's next dino: a CSM. We’re #hiring a founding CSM to join us as we continue to onboard and support a growing customer base. The person in this role will have a lot of impact shaping customer experience at Commsor. If you or someone you know is interested, for the love of all things dino, APPLY and don't just DM our entire team that you're interested. Find the full JD + link to apply here → https://lnkd.in/dtGz253f On a different note - if you or someone you know is looking for a talented seller, I know 3 incredible salespeople currently on the hunt for their next role: Seller 1 - has extensive experience as an AE and has also dabbled in partnerships so knows how to co-sell, collaborate, multi-thread you name it. Does an incredible job with social selling and truly is one of the nicest people you could ever hope to work with. Was absolutely crushing their quota until their company blindsided the sales team and laid off 80% of the AEs. Has experience selling to SMB, mid-market, and Enterprise. Seller 2 - has IC experience, founding AE experience, and also SDR management experience. This person is super motivated, kind, and isn't afraid to get "their hands dirty" as a leader and sell themselves. I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention that they literally NEVER missed quota as an SDR and has a current 40% close rate as an AE. This person is open to both IC and management roles. Seller 3 - is a newer connection of mine and has blown me away with their depth of knowledge of sales despite coming from a "non traditional background", aka teaching. This is their superpower as a seller because they aren't afraid to experiment, try new things and aren't stuck in the "but thats how we've always done sales" mentality that so many sellers have. So it's no surprise they are at the top of the leaderboard in their current role and also were they only seller globally to drive the most amount of net-new business in Q1/Q2 2023 DM me if you'd like to be introed to any of these amazing people!

I was crushing remote sales before it was the norm (w/out Zoom,🤯) I’ve led teams transitioning from the grind of morning commutes to hustling from their kitchen tables. I built successful remote sales squads when everyone thought it couldn’t be done. Here’s what I’ve learned along the way: 👇🏼 1) Hire gritty, self-driven reps. 2) Set up ironclad communication channels—top-down, bottom-up. 3) Define hard-hitting objectives & goals for both the team and each individual. 4) Be there for your team, 24/7, no excuses. 5) Create a winning culture where success is celebrated, and everyone’s pushing each other to be better. #remotesales #remote #saas

Please welcome our newest SDR - DaVonte Scafe! 🙌 We were lucky enough to get to meet him in time for #NooksRetreat2024 and he's already hitting the phones and booking meetings 😎 Here's a bit about our newest team mate: - Born in Philadelphia, PA and I currently lives in Aiken, SC 🏠 - Loves to hit the road on his bike 🚲 He clocks in over 250 miles a week with his longest rides being on #CenturySaturdays - a 100 mile ride every Saturday 👀 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁: He lived in Okinawa, Japan from age 12 to 13 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀: "What I love most about Nooks is the virtual sales floor—it’s been a total game changer for me! It brings my colleagues and me together in a remote environment, creating a sense of camaraderie that’s hard to find when working from home." "The best part is how it accelerates my ramping period. I can easily listen to my peers' talk tracks, get real-time feedback from my SDR manager and team, bounce ideas off my team, and engage in meaningful, spontaneous conversations." 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗵𝗲'𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱: "The best piece of sales advice I ever received is to "fail fast and fail forward." It’s especially important when you’re the new guy—it's perfectly okay to break things, stumble over your talk track, or not know every feature of the product you’re selling." "But if you don’t fail fast, you miss out on crucial learning and growth opportunities. Embracing these challenges head-on helps you improve quickly and ultimately succeed." Welcome to the team! ☎️

🚨Fully (almost) remote SDR role just in 🚨 In a time where fully remote roles are becoming more scarce, we’re pleased to announce we’ve just been engaged exclusively to recruit a new SDR for a SaaS company in Scotland. The only stipulation on where you’re based is that you have a reasonable* commute to Edinburgh for quarterly meet ups with the team. Working as an SDR for this business you’d be selling tech to the hospitality industry. 2 of my favourite restaurants (Hawksmoor and Dishoom) are already clients of theirs to give you an idea of the types of businesses you’d be contacting. If you haven’t tried Dishoom breakfast yet, please try it. It’s important to note that working remotely as an SDR isn’t for everyone. As such, they ideally want someone with a little bit of experience already (could be as little as 6 months). But if you know for sure the SDR role is for you, but you’d benefit from the flexibility you’d get with working from home then this could be something for you. £28,000 - £30,000 base + uncapped comms. Jan start date. Ever so slightly interested? Please drop me a message to find out more. *for example, direct train from Manchester to Edinburgh would be reasonable. If you live in Weston Super Mare then this probably wouldn’t work.
