Visionary Entrepreneur Powering High-Impact Global Growth in Fitness, Wellness, and Consulting Excellence
During my corporate career before transitioning to entrepreneurship, I had the privilege of leading an exceptional team at AIG. This team was responsible for managing the Operational Planning Cycle (OPC) capability across the entire company, a complex and vital process integral to AIG's global operations. Our journey together began with the ambitious goal of implementing the OPC capability on a global scale. This task required meticulous planning, strategic foresight, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Each team member brought a unique set of skills and perspectives, and together, we navigated the complexities of this monumental project. One of the key factors in our success was the deep bond we formed as a team. We worked collaboratively, supported each other through challenges, and celebrated our milestones together. This camaraderie extended beyond the professional realm, creating lifelong friendships that have endured the test of time. The implementation of OPC globally was a significant achievement for AIG. It streamlined our operational planning processes, enhanced our efficiency, and positioned the company for sustained success. The dedication and hard work of each team member were instrumental in this accomplishment, and I am incredibly proud of what we achieved together. Recently, I had the pleasure of reconnecting with several of my former team members at my birthday party. Namely Andrew Yiannakos Tom Bridgeforth, PMP Kareem Holligan Patrick Mundy. PMP, CTP Eros Okoeguale (Okegualey), MS, PMP, PMI-ACP, PSM It was a heartwarming experience to reminisce about our shared journey, the challenges we overcame, and the successes we celebrated. These moments reminded me of the deep sense of gratitude I feel for having had the opportunity to lead such a remarkable group of individuals. In reflecting on this experience, I am reminded of the importance of teamwork, trust, and mutual respect. The bonds we formed and the friendships we developed have been a lasting legacy of our time together. This team not only achieved great things for AIG but also enriched my life in countless ways.
This brings back memories. I’m forever greatful for everyone on that team for mentoring me during my first internship experience. The lessons I learned that summer has guided me throughout my career and still does today. Happy belated birthday Chief Richard Uku
