Event agendas....if i don't understand the title of a session, am i thick, or is pretension overkill just too dominant in marketing circles? Currently comparing two i've signed up - a very logical, clear set of headlines, titles and questions to answer for the PRmoment AI in PR masterclass. Positive anticipation in knowing i will learn stuff. Nice one Ben Smith And then..another...where punctuation free 25 word titles, bad english, and copy that is missing a mix of questions, verbs, and natural language all combine to make me pretty clear it will piss me off in content as well as pitch. Look at me smugness and industry speak do not make for good storytelling. You can tell that other session is showcasing the individual, not real value. And it's the difference between making noise in one scenario and building engagement in the PR Moment approach. It doesn't matter what channels you are using, or who your audience is, if you aren't being useful, helpful and generous in your approach and content, you will fall short of what you want to achieve. Simple communication wins every time. If I can’t understand what the presentation is about or what the other person is talking about, the issue is with them. Not me.
