Hidden Sugar Bomb: Many smoothies, especially pre-made or store-bought ones, are loaded with added sugars and sweetened fruit juices, which can spike your blood sugar and lead to energy crashes later in the day. 2. Calorie Overload: While packed with healthy-sounding ingredients like nut butters, protein powders, and fruits, smoothies can quickly become calorie-dense meals without leaving you feeling full, potentially contributing to weight gain. 3. Lack of Fiber: Blending fruits and vegetables often breaks down their natural fiber, making it less effective in slowing digestion and leaving you with a drink that doesn’t provide the same satiety or gut health benefits as eating whole foods. I stole it... ---from deep thinker/writer Sam Corcos on the Tim Ferriss podcast (linked below). What it means is that, YES, we want you to DO the task, but communicating your progress regularly is key element of it. Not a separate task. 💣 If you do not update your teammates or boss on what you accomplished, it doesn't matter how good you did it. 😰 Those "open loops" where you are wondering if something is getting done is a failure of the team to communicate. It's of course our job to let them know about our discomfort, but letting people know often, exactly what the status is of things is what helps everyone sleep at night. 🙏 The longer I am in business, the more I value you clarity and communication, and the more pride I have in my team for providing that to others.
