🚗 NIO Day 2024 – A Day of Milestones! 🚀 Today, #NIO unveiled their latest masterpiece, the ET9 – a true game-changer in automotive engineering. One highlight that left me speechless was the Champagne Test. The scene: First round, William Li (Li Bin, NIO CEO), second round Herbert Diess takes the wheel to navigate a challenging 4-level Champagne glass test. Despite his initial skepticism, the ET9 effortlessly conquered it. But NIO wasn’t done yet. Round Three: They raised the stakes to 5 levels of glasses filled with Champagne, and the ET9 performed flawlessly! 🍾✨ This is not just a demonstration of technology but a testament to the precision and innovation that NIO continues to deliver. It’s incredible to witness how far they’ve come, redefining what’s possible in the EV world. Kudos to NIO for pushing boundaries and inspiring us all to aim higher. What an incredible achievement! 👏 (Obviously they also introduced the price, but just in case you don’t know, several market research studies show that NIO is a luxury brand already, lot of their customers don’t care the price tag in the first place.) #NIODay #ET9 #Innovation #EV #Technology
Congratulations to that marketing action, but the way how you’re testing champagne is very unique and was never seen before 🥸 Was there still some bubbles left in the glasses? 🍾Simmilar system implemented years ago by Bose is well know and as far I remember a pure disaster on rough roads and higher speeds or not symmetrical stimulation. Same when accelerating, braking or cornering. Also damping of the body movement was very questionable. We would like to know more about how all these was solved. I am wondering that Herbert Diess was paricipating in that staging. Maybe exactly this shows his naivety and explains a little bit more all those problems he left at VW. Merry Christmas to all of you guys!
NIO is trying to gain a foothold in the sedan-dominated Executive Segment with the ET9. I wonder if the consumer will now accept a hatchback model in this segment.
Awaiting for continued increases in sales volumes, and margins and profit improvements.
Looks very similar to Bose Active Suspension. Coincidence? No. Bose sold the technology to Nio-backed ClearMotion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KPYIaks1UY
I suspect it was pre-programmed in a SW, but still- impressive. Yeah 👍🏻
It's fascinating how innovative testing can showcase a brand's confidence. What's next for NIO?
Impressive to see NIO pushing boundaries with the ET9. The Champagne Test truly showcases their commitment to precision.
What’s the problem they try to address here 🤦?!
