TransVirtual Tip - Item Description Lists Within your TransVirtual configuration, you are able to set up pre-defined freight descriptions with corresponding default dimensions and weight. Description lists help minimise the time spent when manually creating a consignment and is a useful method for reducing data entry errors. For anyone who is utilising a customer portal (for bookings), description lists are a great way to make your customer's life easier. To create your Description List, go hover over the Configuration tab and then click on Global Setup (you'll find this under General). Once you are in the Global Setup menu, click the Consignement Related Rules tab and you will see the Description List on the right-hand side of your screen. When you have set up your description list, users will be able to select the freight item when creating a consignment. This will then populate the dimensions and weight automatically.
