Childhood cancer sucks. It can be really hard to know how to help. Our founder Mitch made it easy when he made the pinky promise years ago: help families with everyday expenses so they can focus on what matters most - their child. There are so many ways you can help outside of a donation. Here are four more: 5. Employee Giving. Check your company for a match to help twice as many families! 6. Grants. Some companies offer grants to non-profits. Consider nominating Pinky Swear. 7. United Way. Designate Pinky Swear as your charity of choice! 8. Donor Advised Funds. Support kids with cancer through yours today! No matter how you give or how much you give, you are helping kids with cancer and their families. Are you planning to donate to breast cancer research this month? Donating to cancer research is a powerful way to support the fight against breast cancer, but it’s important to ensure your donations are going to legitimate organizations. By law, charities must disclose how they use funds, and as a donor, you have the right to know how your contributions will be spent. Always research organizations to ensure they are reputable and that your donation will make the intended impact. At The Siler Firm, we encourage you to donate wisely and support reputable breast cancer organizations. Knowing your rights as a donor is key to making a difference. Learn how to verify charitable organizations here: https://lnkd.in/eTzeZTzU #CharityDonations #BreastCancerAwareness #DonorRights #SilerFirmSupports

What is the impact of your donation? One way is the help provided to families and individuals suffering from blood cancer. Donation have helped LLS donate almost $1 Billion. Yes Billion!!!! You say - so why do they need my money? Because every donation, no matter the size, adds up. Thousands and thousands of caring individuals like you. If its not in your budget, ask yourself what you can give up this week or month to help someone in need. - That Starbucks latte - That dessert after a meal out - That after dinner drink out Become that person that helps others in their time of need! It does not take much to be able to find money to help others. Donate at my page - https://lnkd.in/gqbe3xe4 #llsvoy2024 #LLS #sharingiscaring #bloodcancer

Well done
Earlier this year I joined Aventum Group in their 'EC3 Relay' 🚴♂️ It was a Guinness World Records title attempt for the 'Most Participants in a Static Cycle Relay' all in aid of raising money for Cancer Research UK (CRUK) in #Leadenhallmarket ❤️ ... and they smashed it 😄 It was fantastic to be part of such a great event and for an even greater cause ❤️ 🚴♂️ #aventumgroup #cancerresearch #Guinnessworldrecords #leadenhallmarket #staticcycle #insurance #charity

🌟 Exciting News & A Call for Support! 🌟 After a refreshing family holiday where I focused on connecting my kids with their relatives, I’m back on LinkedIn with a purpose-driven challenge. At The Transformation Group, we’re fortunate to align our professional values with meaningful causes. I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be supporting our primary charity partner, Tour de Cure Australia, by taking on a personal challenge: running 50km to raise funds for cancer research with Suncorp Group the sponsor of the event. Having recently completed a 450km cycling challenge, this run feels like a different kind of uphill battle without the luxury of training. The cause hits close to home as my wife’s family has recently faced a heartbreaking loss due to cancer. This run is dedicated to all the families affected by this disease, and I’m committed to giving it my best shot despite my fears of injury (currently dealing with two strained calf muscles so can't run more than 8k). Here’s where I’d deeply appreciate your support: Donations: Every contribution helps us get closer to a cure. Training Tips: With only 2 weeks to prepare, any advice on running, nutrition, or injury prevention would be incredibly valuable. Moral Support: Just knowing you’re cheering me on would mean the world! Feel free to contribute or share your insights via the link below. Let’s come together to make a difference! https://lnkd.in/gRajRPQ2 - team of 1 Thank you for your support and encouragement! #CharityChallenge #CancerResearch #RunningForACause #SupportAndDonate #MakeADifference

Do you know about CYB's point of donation software platform Give A Little? It helps charities make the transition to cashless fundraising and is used by the likes of Cancer Research UK (CRUK), Oxfam and The Church of England. Give A Little's Product Manager James Alden has written about how it all works, and how adopting lean methods lead to a 50% increase in donation value on the platform last year.
