If you're a superstar attorney in a top tier team and you're not getting traction with interviews -- ask your recruiter what their track record is, and what their relationship is with the firms and partners you're being submitted to. Too often I come across smart, commercial attorneys working in practice areas where they should be getting multiple offers and sign on bonuses but aren't getting any traction, or are being side-lined in processes -- and think it's the market.
