NeoCon was awesome, but here is my highlight for the week: a personal video from Jesse Cole, owner of the Savannah Bananas. The Savanna Bananas are a baseball team that has done for baseball what Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group has done for the circus. So why am I interested? Our industry is stuck in a 3 three-ring circus of #RTO, #Hybrid, and #WellBeing. William Gibson coined the phrase, "The future is already here, just not evenly distributed." We break from the past by finding positive outliers and learning their journey. That's not the same as copying their "formula." I recommend you buy Jesse's book, "Fans First." Jesse's video walks his talk and ignited my fan experience. Was it expensive to do? No Was it hard to do? No Did it send me over the top with enthusiasm? Absolutely What would it look like to create a culture of: Employees First Customers First This is the start of my conversation with the Savannah Bananas. Here is a link to Jesse's book: https://a.co/d/ixiMDQv
The Savannah Bananas are an absolute must see - so much fun, entertainment and skill. Listen to their interview regarding hiring practices, fresh and forward!
THIS.IS.EPIC. Two dudes I respect a bunch! Grateful to have both of you in my circle! Now back to breaking up the 3-ring circus of CRE.... Jesse Cole and Rex Miller

6moIt's funny how we try other ways for convenience then it always seems to revert back to customer first, customer experience, and keep you employees happy. Or as Zig Ziglar used to say "If you want success start by making everyone else happy, it will come".
