Har acche designer ko yeh lagta hai. Bas koi bolta nahin hai. This is some explosive stuff. An extract from the book Ruined by Design by Mike Monteiro. Expect truth bomb pe truth bomb pe truth bomb. The book is much broader in scope, throwing light on design ethics, activism and a designer's responsibility in making the world better than what it is today. An insightful read. Give it a try, if you find the issue interesting. #designer #book #ethics #responsiblity (When I read this bit, mujhse raha nahi gaya. I had to design a poster out of it. 🤷♂️)

I am thrilled to announce the publication of my literature review titled "Unveiling Corporate Hypocrisy: Ethical Dilemmas in Business Arena" in the first edition of RESEARCH CONTEMPLATION: A MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH by Lulu Publications. A heartfelt thank you to my guide, Dr. Anuradha Yadav ma'am, for her unwavering support, guidance, and mentorship throughout this journey. I also want to sincerely thank our editor, Ravi Kumar Bommisetti, for his invaluable contributions to this publication. Details: ISBN: 978-1-304-23241-0 Publisher: Lulu Publication First Edition: 2024 About the Paper: This paper (page 418) explores the theory of corporate hypocrisy wherein companies avow loyalty to ethical practices but engage in practises that are contradictory to it. Alternatively called as green washing, this study examines the ethical dilemmas and consequences associated with corporate hypocrisy, drawing insights from various theoretical perspectives. Furthermore, the study combines real-world research results to show how corporate hypocrisy affects different groups like employees, customers, and communities in many ways. You can read the full review here: https://lnkd.in/gCGG8w7R I am grateful for the support and encouragement from everyone who has been part of this journey. I look forward to your feedback and engaging discussions! #Corporatehypocrisy #Research #Publication #Literaturereview #AcademicResearch #Gratitude.

Probably the most important part of the peer review process, this section digs deep into what it takes to write a peer review report, which will be helpful to the author and ultimately to science. It discusses in depth the comments you make to the author, the do’s and don’ts of the same and the ethical considerations you need to be aware of. It discusses the confidential comments you can make to the editor and each of the decision recommendation you can make and what they mean.

Academic publishing tip 51: Working with peer review reports? Remember, one reader stands for a thousand readers. You may not always agree with the peer’s comment, but where they disagree with you, you probably left space for ambiguity, could be more convincing, or left a hole in your argument. You can still remedy this

As a peer reviewer, is it appropriate to ask an author to cite your own paper? If your research is relevant and could enhance the manuscript, does suggesting it cross an ethical boundary? Personally, I don’t prefer to do this, as I believe my research should stand on its own. How do you balance contributing to the manuscript's quality with maintaining objectivity and avoiding conflicts of interest? I’m eager to hear your insights! #PeerReview #AcademicIntegrity #ResearchEthics #EthicalReviewing

An interesting paper that I have recently read, is titled "How to Convince an Editor to Accept Your Paper Quickly" by "R. A. Hites" and it was interesting. Unlike how, at first glance, it suggests that it is a joke, it's not. It somehow gives an idea to people with low experience (like me) about how to handle the submission of a paper and its publishing process. I indeed would suggest that every young scientist should read it. #Science #Paper #Publish #Article
