Through hands-on projects and community initiatives, we have the opportunity to make a real difference outside of the plant and offices. In October, Resolve Surgical Technologies employees went to Bay Cliff Health Camp for our one of our annual Employee Volunteer Days! We spent the day getting their grounds ready for the coming winter. 💪💙 Our employees also had the opportunity to learn more about the efforts and mission of Bay Cliff Health Camp's Executive Director, Clare Lutgen, EdD who came to Resolve for a presentation. We are grateful to work with such an incredible team that values community impact. Here’s to more days like this, where we step outside of our work roles to give back and make a positive impact in our community. #VTO #GiveBack #CommunityImpact #VolunteerDay #CompanyValues

One of the projects I'm working on this year is surveying our volunteers as part of our Volunteer Management Strategy. I'm struggling with wanting to know EVERYTHING without overwhelming them and getting no responses! Should we focus on culture, engagement, satisfaction? Is a little bit of each better than focusing on just one? What approaches have you taken to survey your volunteers? What are the most important questions we should be asking our volunteers? #volunteermanagement #volunteerengagement #volunteersatisfaction #surveys #nfp

Learn a few fun facts about me!
EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: Meet Debora, a leader in our Information Systems and Services department, who has been with Delta Dental for nine years. In her role, she focuses on database platforms to keep digital systems running smoothly. Debora has helped establish a women-in-tech program and strives to keep work engaging and fun for everyone around her. One of the most exciting aspects of her work is the data inquiry and analysis. "If you're curious by nature, this is the spot for you," she said. Her favorite part about working at Delta Dental? "Hands down, it's the people I interact with every day," she said. "Especially when we brainstorm fun ideas and even when we get together outside of work." For Debora, building healthy, smart and vibrant communities means staying aligned with Delta Dental's mission and giving back through volunteering. She prioritizes contributing to the community whenever and wherever possible. Outside of work, travel is Debora's passion. "I feel most aligned when my next trip is on the books," she said. Another fun fact about Debora is that she is a twin!

This past weekend, I was fortunate to gather with family to share stories, laughter, and traditions. Facetiming some family that lives far away was a highlight for me. However, for some, the holiday season highlights a profound gap—the lack of a reliable way to connect with family and loved ones. At Compudopt, this Giving Tuesday focuses on connecting more families this holiday season. Help us make a difference today! www.compudopt.org/EOY2024 #GivingTuesday #ConnectedfortheHolidays #Compudopt

Excited to share a brand-new video from our recent event at the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless Community Garden with Jovia Financial Credit Union members volunteering. It was an event full of laughter, hard work, and heartwarming moments. Shoutout to our award-winning junior community volunteers who took part with Deborah Mazza and Christine Bentley, Bailey Riekkinen, Simone Williams for taking the time to be interviewed. 🔹 Our team dove into action—rolling up sleeves, tackling weeds, and turning weeding into quite the workout! 🔹 Engaging with community members, genuine smiles, and stories that remind us why we do what we do—it's all about human connections. 🔹 Midway through, vibrant activities shined, with lots of weeding and even more laughter. 🔹 Behind-the-scenes footage showcased teamwork in action, like a reality show with more soil and fewer drama queens. 🔹 Wrapping up with unforgettable moments leaving everyone grinning from ear to ear. This video reflects our hard work and passion for community outreach. Proud to be part of a team making a real difference, one weed at a time! Watch the full video and share your thoughts. What's your favorite part, and how can we enhance our community outreach? Your feedback matters! Let's keep those green thumbs moving and brains thinking! 💡 #CommunityEngagement #TeamWork #JoviaFinancialCreditUnion #CommunityRelations #Marketing #LICHCommunityGarden #GardenAdventures

Reflecting on the power of mentorship and personal advocacy in the lives of students from single-parent households, we find a critical topic often overlooked - challenges in balancing work, parenting duties, and personal growth. 🤔💡 It's a struggle that resonates deeply within our communities, particularly for single parents who are raising their children while juggling all life demands on a single income. There's a need for more housing that provides educational support, nurturing environments, and alleviates the stress of managing household expenses. We urge all organizations, corporations, and community advocates to amplify their Corporate Social Responsibility

During my time at @Life Without Barriers, I’ve learned that fostering can come in many forms. Providing care doesn’t have to be full-time; it can be providing a safe space for a young person for a couple of nights or one weekend each month. When it comes to fostering, no two children or families are the same; that’s why Life Without Barriers doesn’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. Think outside the box and learn more about the diverse ways you could make a difference here: https://lnkd.in/gMUF6SGc

In a world where time flies, and priorities shift, remember the profound truth underpinning thriving communities: caring. Anthony J. D'Angelo said it best, "Without a sense of CARING, there would be no COMMUNITY." At Right at Home, we cherish this truth. Caring isn't just a feeling; it's a force that enriches lives and forges connections. It's the backbone of compassion that echoes through our streets. When we care for each other, we ignite a ripple effect of kindness. Every vibrant community thrives on genuine concern for each other's well-being. Whether it's a friendly check-in or rallying behind local causes, these acts of care weave the tapestry of togetherness. In our work at Right at Home Fox Cities and Green Bay Area, we witness the power of caring firsthand. From assisting with daily tasks to offering companionship, our caregivers embody this spirit. But caring doesn't stop there – it extends to our entire community. Caring isn't just a virtue; it's the cornerstone of community. It binds us and empowers us to build a better world together. Join us in nurturing a culture of caring, kindness, and empathy. Together, we create communities where everyone thrives. 💙 #CaringCommunity #CommunityMatters #RightAtHome #KindnessMatters
