I launched Mync Boutique while sitting alone in my car, across from a post office, with nothing but a vision and determination. The road was filled with obstacles, but each struggle reinforced my commitment to my dream. Today, Mync Boutique is a thriving symbol of female entrepreneurship and empowerment. For all the women out there who feel alone in their journey, remember: your solitary beginnings can lead to extraordinary achievements. Keep believing in your dreams. 🌟 #WomenInBusiness #EntrepreneurialSpirit #Empowerment
THANK YOU EVERYONE 😘

Thank you to everyone that said “No” along the way. Such an important moment to reflect when someone says no when an opportunity presents itself. No can mean a lot of things. It may mean you aren’t ready, you don’t see the big picture, or it can mean you have the opportunity to grow by reflecting and responding with positive results that allow the growth necessary to elevate your success at the next level. Seek the feedback. Lean in. And growth will be the result when you get outside your comfort zone and level up. Keep pushing. #growth #leadership
Thank you for saying no to me.

When’s the last time you said thank you to your techs? I’ve always believed the technicians are the single most important part of the team. Think about it. In sales, we often make a lot of promises and of course do our best to deliver. But it’s the boots on the ground that make the difference during the entire lifecycle of the project. Throughout all phases of the project, they are hit with many variables and have to make adjustments to keep things moving forward. Many times, these small nuance things are what make a good project great. Often, the techs are the single most influential member of your team, since they interact the most with the other vendors, project supervisors and general contractor on the job. Even though the rough in will be hidden behind the walls and ceilings, the quality of this work says so much about the integrity of your company. Here, the techs are responsible for creating magic which often goes unnoticed. Towards the end of the project, their dedicated attentions to detail often make the difference in a problem free, final installation and then it’s on to the next one. There are so many examples where our technicians make a big difference, so let’s all say thank you to our most valuable teammates next time we see them heading out into the field.

Thank you Talal Al Murad. What an apt example of 'corporate thuggery, toxic mindsets and a paralyzed workforce; sadly prevalent across many businesses and entities. This visual highlights the urgent need for a shift in corporate culture to foster healthier, more productive environments. It is imperative that educational institutions take note and incorporate these lessons into their curricula, preparing students not just with academic knowledge, but with the resilience and ethical grounding to transform future workplaces. 👠 #essentialskills #peoplematter #authenticleadership

Rewarding the team can be done in a variety of ways, bonuses, commissions, an annual reward for results - many companies do it in different ways. One way that is often overlooked, but has a variety of benefits is corporate hospitality. Building a Culture of recognition, recognising your teams productive behaviour with a party or event drives growth, recognition and rewards are not only nice gestures, but also powerful tools for boosting your team's morale, performance, and retention. When you acknowledge and celebrate your team's contributions, you show them that you value their efforts, respect their skills, and care about their well-being. You also create a positive and supportive work culture that fosters trust, collaboration, and loyalty. Recognition and rewards can also help your team overcome challenges, learn from feedback, and strive for excellence. Take a look at some examples of how Global Event Management has done this for our clients for 20 years! #Hospitality #Reward #Recogtnise #value https://lnkd.in/eFFUaHJt

When Your Company Strikes Gold and You Get... Pizza? 🍕💰 Alright, gather 'round for a tale of two companies! Company A (let's call them "Dough-verload Inc.") just had a record-breaking quarter. The CEO's grinning like he won the lottery, and the shareholders are doing backflips. So how do they thank their hardworking team? drumroll With a pizza party! 🎉 Now, don't get me wrong. I love a good slice as much as the next person. But when the company's swimming in cash, and you're drowning in pepperoni, something doesn't quite add up! 🤔 Meanwhile, in the land of "We Actually Appreciate Our Employees": 1. Google once surprised their staff with $1000 cash bonuses and 10% raises across the board. Talk about a "Google search" worth doing! 💻💰 2. Airbnb gives employees an annual $2000 travel stipend. "Sorry, can't come to the meeting, I'm busy appreciating my job from a beach in Bali." 🏖️ 3. Tesla has been known to reward top performers with actual Tesla cars. I guess "employee of the month" parking spot just doesn't cut it anymore! 🚗 4. Amazon offers to pay 95% of tuition for employees to train for in-demand jobs. Because nothing says "thanks" like investing in someone's future (and potentially creating your own competition). 📚 5. Twitter (pre-Elon era) once gifted custom-made Tiffany & Co. glass bird ornaments to all employees. Because nothing says "we value you" like breakable tchotchkes, right? 🐦 As the great Richard Branson once said, "Clients do not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients." Now, I'm not saying we all need to start handing out luxury cars (though I wouldn't complain). But maybe, just maybe, when the company hits the jackpot, the celebration could involve more than just extra cheese. So, what's your take? Are you team "pizza party" or team "thanks-a-million"?
