🐝The Vital Role of Bees in Nature.🐝 On this world urban beekeeping day let’s take a moment and know why bees are important for our environment. Bees are essential for our environment and agriculture: 1. Pollinators Extraordinaire: Bees pollinate 75% of the fruits, vegetables, and nuts we eat. 2. Biodiversity Champions: They support diverse plant life, maintaining ecosystem health. 3. Environmental Indicators: Bees reflect the health of our ecosystems. 4. Natural Beautifiers: They help create vibrant landscapes. Protecting bees means ensuring our survival and the health of our planet! #Bees #Pollinators #Biodiversity #Sustainability #EnvironmentalHealth #Agriculture #BeeProtection #renukiranwelfarefoundation

Did you know that honey bees probably arrived in the Baltics from Spain, after the last glacier retreated and flowering trees spread, providing them with habitat and food? 🐝 Adapting to different situations, in general, the little workers have existed on the planet for millions of years 😮 However, both #bees and other insect pollinators are decreasing in the world, and their importance for biodiversity, agriculture, and human health is enormous 🍯🌿 That’s why today we celebrate #WorldBeeDay! 💛🖤 And like bees, we’re busy working on a project QuantiFarm: developing a #BeehivesMonitoringSystem that will help to ensure the effective care of bee colonies while promoting #sustainability in #agriculture and improving the environment 👌

Today, on National World Bee Day, we recognize bees' critical role in our ecosystem and the agricultural industry. At AVSeeds, we understand the importance of these tiny yet powerful pollinators in maintaining biodiversity and food production. Bees are essential for pollinating many crops, contributing to the growth of fruits, vegetables, and nuts that comprise a significant portion of our diet. It's crucial to raise awareness about bee populations' threats, including habitat loss, pesticide use, and climate change. By supporting initiatives that aim to protect and preserve bee habitats, we can help ensure the survival of these vital insects for future generations. At AVSeeds, we are committed to sustainable practices that promote bee health and well-being. We work hard to implement bee-friendly agricultural techniques and support research into bee conservation. Together, we can make a difference in safeguarding our precious pollinators and the environment they thrive in. Happy National World Bee Day from all of us at AVSeeds! 🐝🌼 #NationalWorldBeeDay #AVSeeds #Sustainability #BeeConservation

Happy International Bee Day! 🐝 Did you know that bees are crucial for Pollination Powerhouses, Biodiversity Boosters, Food Security Guardians, Economic Value, Environmental Indicators? Bees are vital pollinators, essential for the reproduction of many plants, including crops crucial for human food supply. Their pollination activities contribute to biodiversity preservation and ecosystem health. Approximately one-third of the food we consume relies on bee pollination, emphasizing their role in global food security. Bees provide significant economic value through ecosystem services, enhancing agricultural productivity and supporting livelihoods worldwide. Furthermore, bee populations serve as indicators of environmental health, highlighting the need for conservation efforts to address threats such as habitat loss, pesticides, climate change, and pollution. Let's buzz with excitement as we celebrate these incredible pollinators and their vital role in our ecosystem. 🌼 #emaptaexperience #bethebestofyou #passionforwork #workingdays #teamworking

Lets celebrate World Bee Day! 🐝💛 Today, we celebrate the tiny but mighty bees that play a crucial role in our ecosystem. Did you know that bees are responsible for pollinating about one-third of the food we eat? These industrious insects are essential for our agricultural success and biodiversity. You may well know that our CEO Richard Tavener is a keen beekeeper and Chair of the St Albans and District Beekeeping Association. The video is a cast swarm leaving from a hive in his apiary yesterday. Here are a few simple ways you can contribute to bee conservation: Plant bee-friendly flowers and herbs in your garden. Avoid using pesticides and herbicides. Support local beekeepers by buying their honey and products. Educate others about the significance of bees and the challenges they face. Join me in celebrating National Bee Day by doing something positive for our buzzing friends. Together, we can create a healthier environment for bees and, in turn, for ourselves. 🐝💛 #WorldBeeDay #SaveTheBees #Pollinators #BeeConservation #Sustainability #Ecosystem

🌱🌍 Happy Earth Day from our farming family! 🌍🌱 Today, as we celebrate our beautiful planet, we're reminded of our deep connection to the land. From sunrise to sunset, we work hand in hand with Mother Nature to nurture our crops and care for our animals. - Our lands are in environmental schemes in partnership with Natural England and are LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming) Marque Assured. - Over the last decade we've planted over 1000,000 new trees, including orchards to encourage birds and wildlife. - All our fields have buffer margins to protect wildlife. - We've planted wild seed meadows to help with biodiversity. - We've installed over 6mw of renewable energy. - We aim for a closed loop system; muck from the animals is used to replace artificial fertilisers, straw from the fields is used to bed the animals. We believe in farming in a way that increases regeneration and biodiversity, all having a positive impact on the land and the animals. #EarthDay2024 #EarthDay #FarmingLife #SustainableLiving #environment

World Bee Day May 20, 2024 World Bee Day is celebrated every year on May 20 to raise awareness among the international public about the importance of bees and other pollinators for humanity in the light of food security, the global elimination of hunger and care for the environment and biodiversity. They are essential for our existence, sustaining agriculture and biodiversity worldwide. With over 20,000 species, bees and various other wild pollinators play vital role in preserving our ecosystem. Destruction of their natural habitat, intensive farming practices, climate change, and pests and diseases are some of the reasons causing decline in both the number and diversity of bees. This year's theme "Bee Engaged with Youth", highlights the importance of involving young people in beekeeping and pollinator conservation efforts, recognizing them as the future stewards of our environment. It emphasizes global cooperation to engage young individuals in protecting these vital species. By doing so, we safeguard food security, preserve agricultural livelihoods, and combat biodiversity loss. #vetsaw #worldbeeday #beengagedwithyouth
