Even though it’s summarised in chapter 3 of 'How to Grow Your Small Business' ( https://amzn.to/4ehrSt4 ) it’s definitely worth studying, as there’s so much more in it and its incredibly strong on its processes. A couple of things I’d like to add: The starting point of the StoryBrand narrative involves identifying the customer’s problems that needs to be addressed. Even though we are professionals working in specialised areas, we don’t often recognise the key questions that our clients need answering. This is addressed in Sabri Suby’s book ‘Sell Like Crazy’ ( https://amzn.to/4gvZHIB ) which is really worth getting. And the StoryBrand process sets out the narrative in a series of information boxes (The 7 part system). You can see this if you go to the website referred to in the book. For visual thinkers, this is great because it means you can work with the set process for standard messaging as described, or re-string them any way you want for other applications, such as an elevator pitch, text messaging, business documents etc. Apply mind mapping to this, (see Tony Buzan’s ‘Use Your Head’  https://amzn.to/4gsYC4u  ), and it becomes a very dynamic and flexible working tool (or at least it does in my little brain). 👍 🚀 🦉 #donaldmiller #storybrand #bookclub #businessgrowth

I led several think tank sessions with small groups of sellers at the Prosper Show last month. Here are some of the top pain points we whiteboarded: - Restricted products - ASIN takedowns - False flags and automation errors from Amazon - Unsubstantiated claims (such as health or cure claims) - Compliant packaging - Appealing just through seller support cases (there are other, better paths!) - Submitting plans of action (hint: these don't work anymore, and are actually admissions of guilt, so do not use them!) What I like about the think tank format is that it's collaborative. Sellers get to talk as much as the moderators do, and so sellers benefit from each other's experience. That's why I enjoy hosting think tanks rather than going up on stage at talking AT sellers for 30-45 minutes. We've ensured a similar degree of interactive, seller-led programming with our The Seller Velocity Conference, which is coming up fast this spring!
