Day 14 - What stories made you the person you are today? We have reached the equator of the 30-Day Journaling Challenge, and we are about to take the highway into self-discovery! From tomorrow on, we’ll be studying and reflecting on deeper and more complex aspects of the human experience and self-image in the journaling sessions, breaking BIG narratives and traditional concepts about who we are and how we experience life. That’s why I chose these questions for today’s Journaling practice: - What are the stories that define you? — Or another version… - What stories made you the person you are today? Why? - How would you tell me those stories? Exactly one year ago, when I dusted off Humans Academy after 2 years of stagnation I came to discover the truth that would make me rediscover the purpose of the project and why it matters in this simple, yet breathtaking, statement that came to my mind in a moment of acute inspiration: “We Humans are stories. Narrated, written or thought. And we are only as powerful as our awareness to choose the stories that define us”. I can only recall 2 novels that, in my opinion, seem to narrate this idea to perfection and which, moreover, have marvelous film adaptations that make the visual narration an artistic experience: KEEP READING HERE! 👇 👇 👇
