In your tenure, please remove multiple corrupt Govt employees, Ministers, Systems, Processes, Laws, Freebies, and contractors/contracts. Let the country be run by track-proven leaders like you. Wish to see the Indian Sensex going up the same as the Infy Stock since its beginning. I wish to see the Indian Govt and Laws being made/modified and run by Tata, Infy, and other similar private companies. Please bring a 50% mandatory lady workforce law in all fields including the oil rigs and other hard jobs. A chance opportunity to evaluate a project proposal from an orphanage on behalf of Cognizant Foundation and tasting success there, helped Deepak Prabhu Matti (CEO, Cognizant Foundation) gain a deeper interest in the development sector appreciating that there is so much that one can do to enable change. Deepak's motivation to be in the sector is the sheer opportunity to make a difference! As the CEO of Cognizant Foundation, Deepak spearheads several impactful projects, offering innovative solutions to persistent problems. Our conversation with Deepak was particularly refreshing as his advice for CSR professionals was - One won’t discover why the sector makes sense for them by just getting into the job. One has to start by exploring any problem statement around them and then by getting associated with an organization at the grassroots level to be able to support them in what they are doing. This pilot approach will enable one to get a taste of the lifecycle of the social sector initiative and in turn judge if they are in it for the long run or not. #iwd2024 I’ve been celebrating #IWD for ~20 years now, either as participant or #speaker. Yesterday was no different - a series of wonderful initiatives pulled together by the Shell Bangalore teams, allowed us the opportunity to pause, reflect and reenergise our commitment to a more gender balanced workplace. IWD is just one of the many days in a year where our #DEI teams work tirelessly towards this cause. Engagement sessions, panel discussions, roundtables, external insights, speak up sessions, learning from each other - it’s a tremendous amount of work that goes into the year. And rightly so, for in #DEI we can never stop learning, never say we know enough, never assume that everyone is on the same page, for it is a continuous awakening, a process of life long learning to truly #inspireinclusion. There are days when these efforts seem so meaningful and there are days when I wonder if we are moving the needle at all. This year, a special moment was when a few people walked upto me and shared that they were inspired to join the #GenderBalance commitment after hearing us #speak at a past event. A good reminder that every effort #makesadifference Womens day is not about the women alone. It is about ALL of us truly being able to live in a world of equal opportunity. It is not just about you and me being a passionate advocate, but about passing the flame to others to lead the way.
