Data blending in Looker Studio is a common query. I find it easier to work with data in BigQuery or Looker Studio because SQL joins and Google Sheets formulas are clearer to me, and calculations are faster. However, sometimes I have to directly join data sources in Looker Studio for specific projects. I've crafted a beginner's guide that thoroughly covers all types of data joining in Looker Studio. Using a straightforward example with two Google Sheets tables, the guide explains the process in detail. Though the video is lengthy, it offers comprehensive insights - https://lnkd.in/d7kk2YiP More videos on this topic are on the way, featuring more intricate examples. For those using Looker Studio, I recommend subscribing to my YouTube channel to stay updated! #LookerStudio #DataJoining #DataIntegration #DataAnalysis #BigQuery #GoogleSheets #LookerStudioTutorial #DataVisualization #LookerStudioBeginners #MarketingAnalytics

Hi dears power BI builders 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄/𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐄𝐒 : 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐧, 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 ? Where is my magnifying glass , please ? COPILOT (on bing) comes to the rescue by proposing : - A nice formatting , a clarification of the chapters - Proposal of solutions etc .. 𝐀𝐬 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚n 𝐬𝐞𝐞 , 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐨 𝐃𝐎𝐂𝐔𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 My advise , don't hesitate also, to fill in on the prompt your tricky (or not) M scripts , DAX formula ... and SQL scripts 💡 For you understanding , this case is a refresh on KO due to my P2 premium capacity semantic model "swirling" memory size limitation Operation maximum memory available P2 = 100 Go available ==> effective memory during refresh (manage the shadowing) = 100 / 2 = 50 Gb Of course 51 115 Mb > 50 000 Mb ... even model size sounds small Root cause ? ---------------- -Merge with not all they used , a poor join ==> strong rows cardinality ? -Temporary tables usage ? #powerbi #microsoft #data #microsoftfabric #dataanalytics #bi #datagovernance

We have all heard of Real-Time solutions before. But each of them come with challenges. Either configuration is complicated or involves coding/ETL or the cost is exorbitant. Data Mirroring in Microsoft Fabric is none of the above. It is easy to configure, involves no ETL and the cost is minimal. This feature is in public preview and I have been kicking the tires. Check out the video where I share my findings.

Data Mirroring in #microsoft #fabric helps us spend less time on data engineering and more time on #analytics. Cost, performance, and time to value considerations are all impacted by this technology in a positive way. However, there are a few things to be aware of before you deploy it, but luckily, Nikil Prabhakar has got you covered. Check out his latest video below!
