From the desk of our CEO & Founder, Tiffany Hicks - MSM MCD HERE IT GOES... 👇 Let's play a game! It's an oldie but goodie 🤸♀️ 🤸♂️ Have you ever...? 1. Had a business colleague steal your idea? 2. Had a mentee that was un-coachable? 3. Met a person who thinks they know EVERYTHING? 4. Had a business or personal relationship that went sour? 5. Met a person who presented themselves as who they need to be to get what they wanted from you? 6. Had a person in your life whom you realized after time their energy did not match yours? 7. Met a person with a manipulative spirit? 8. Endured someone you cared for NOT being accountable for the psychological terror they cause in others lives? 9. Met a consummate complainer? 10. Watched people suffer at the hands of another with an opportunistic agenda? If you've said yes to 7 or more of the above...join the club 🎉 🎊 🎉. We are part of the “Life BE Lif’n” ♣ club. All of the above a par for the course of entrepreneurship, life & success. And guess what, on your journey through the Valley of Decisions 🌄 🤔 you'll endure more of the above. Lessons Learned & Best Practices: 1. Identify the above sooner than later (Situational Awareness). 2. Stop making excuses for them - don't see their potential - see who they are now in the present (Self-Awareness). 3. Pray for them, most people are in a sh!@ ton of pain. This life deals some cards that are difficult for even the most righteous person to play (Grace & Mercy). 4. Know - it's not you and don't get gaslit. Stand firm in knowing your role and exit as soon as the utterance of inappropriate behavior hits your spirit. (Self-Awareness) 5. Move on & forgive yourself - because when you know, you know. (Forgiveness) 6. Remove them from your space to make room for those with grace, kindness, love, mercy and Thanksgiving. (Blessings & Seasons) Leadership is about self-awareness and the main thing you need to be aware of is...the environment YOU must create for you and OTHERS to grow (situational). I'm 34. Over the last ten years, I've built multiple 7-figure businesses. Here are 9 uncomfortable truths I learned along the way (which most people spend their entire lives avoiding): 1. No one owes you a job. When you graduate from high school or college, nobody owes you a paycheck. That's a lie we've been told. Your value to a company only exists so long as that company needs you. You are human labor leverage. Whether you like it or not. 2. If you don't grow together, you grow apart. Friendships, relationships with your siblings & parents, life partners. All of these require nurturing on a consistent basis. Otherwise, life pulls you apart. • You change • They change Eventually, you don't recognize each other. 3. Safety is an illusion. People spend their entire lives working jobs they hate chasing "safety." So do entrepreneurs: "Once I make enough $$$, then I'll be safe." These are lies we tell ourselves. Life is full of Black Swan events. You never know what could happen. 4. Your parents are flawed individuals, just like you. As children, we put our parents on a pedestal—and project our wants and needs onto them. Many people spend their entire adult lives continuing to do this. Failing to accept their parents for who they are. 5. Status symbols only work on people "below you." Nobody richer than you cares about your Rolex. Nobody with more championship rings than you cares about your championship ring. Face it: status symbols only impress the people who are easy to impress. 6. It's easier to be broke and guaranteed to fail than rich and at risk of losing it all. Responsibility scares people. So instead of accepting responsibility, most people defer it. Better to know they are unhappy and complain vs try to fix it and fail. 7. The people in your life are a "hall of mirrors" for who you are. • If you are a dramatic person, you are going to attract drama • If you are an insecure person, you are going to attract insecure people • If you are an egomaniac, you are going to attract egomaniacs 8. Your life story is the sum total of all your decisions. Most people think they ARE someone in life—and they make decisions. In reality, it's flipped: You are no one. But with each decision you make, who you ARE becomes more and more developed. Actions tell your story. 9. The purpose of life is to give your life purpose. Some people view life as a game. Others: • An adventure. • An experience. • A "waiting period between lives." All of these are right. Or, none of them are. Your life's purpose is yours to choose. And live it fully.

What is the Truth About Your Life Success, Self-Sabotage and Finishing Strong This Year? Is Self-sabotage an addiction to under-achieving, under-earning and overall under-being in your life?” The following is a short list of goals and dreams in no particular order that (for most people) will never get achieved. Not in 2024...2025...2026…2027 or any year for that matter. Allow us to provide the list first…and the reason why along with the solution immediately thereafter. 1. Getting in great physical shape through a diet and exercise regimen. 2. Launching a business or initiative whose aim is to take control of your destiny. 3. The pursuit of any calling in writing, painting, music, film, dance, or any creative art. 4. Any program of spiritual enlightenment to obtain greater peace of mind. 5. The learning of a new language or hobby so as to expand your horizons. 6. Any course designed to overcome an unwholesome habit or addiction. 7. Education of any kind that would provide greater career options. 8. Any act of political, moral, or ethical courage. 9. The decision to change some unhealthy pattern of thought or conduct in ourselves. 10. The taking of any principled stand in the face of adversity. 11. Any act that entails commitment of the heart, time and money. 12. Becoming debt free and financially secure. * Why is it that these goals will get very little traction? * How is it even remotely possible that most people will barely make a dent on any of their goals or new year resolutions? The answer: Self-Sabotage We put together a way to help you understand, confront and overcome this mother of a resistance force if you are ready. Why this? Because we repeat what we don't repair. Stop- self-deprecating yourself. yes you stop it! I used to be that person that believed I am a behind the sense kind of person or i'd rather give others a chance before I try. I would rather not talk about my wins because I was scared I wasn't doing much. But you know what? All that has changed now. So to you. I know you are humble and would rather not talk about yourself or achievements because you feel others are doing better than you. Here's a word from me to you Stop it! Stop that nonsense! It's time to let the world know what you are capable of. Your achievements Your strength. We want to hear those little wins that seems insignificant. We want to know how you were able to overcome certain obstacles. We want to know the things you are capable of doing. If you don't say it, no one would know. Tell us how you were able to achieve this, or do that. Tell us how you overcame your fears and pushed through. Tell us what your motivation was. Tell us everything We want to share in your stories and victories too. We want to celebrate and cheer you till you get to the top. Enough of the false humility all in the name of I've not achieved anything compared to him/ her. From hence fort. I want you to let the world know what you have achieved. It is not pride, it is you letting the world know that you are aiming for more. It is you inspiring others no matter how small. It is you giving yourself a reason to be proud of yourself and feel motivated and geared for the next phase. It's time to give yourself some credits too because you deserve every bit of it.

𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝘁 𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁 If you’re struggling with self-doubt 𝙔𝙊𝙐 𝙉𝙀𝙀𝘿 𝙏𝙊 𝙍𝙀𝘼𝘿 𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙎. Your current state doesn’t have to be a permanent one. With the right strategies, you can rebuild your confidence and enhance your decision-making skills. I speak from personal experience. I once faced crippling self-doubt, focusing only on the negatives in my career. But with support, I broke the cycle by changing one critical element: my thoughts. By forcing myself to think positively, I altered my feelings and actions, creating a positive feedback loop that broke the negative cycle. Taking small steps toward self-belief has transformed my career. The pressure has lifted, and my attitude towards everything, both professionally and personally, has changed. Now, I see every situation, whether good or bad, as an opportunity to learn. Here’s how I broke the cycle of self-doubt: 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗯𝘁. 🔹Your thoughts control your feelings 🔹Your feelings control your actions 🔹Your actions create your results. Start at the top of the loop by controlling your thoughts, and your results will become different. Remember, you control your mind; your mind doesn’t control you. My journey from crippling self-doubt to becoming a successful business leader and entrepreneur is a testament to the power of self-belief. If you’re suffering from self-doubt, know that you can take control of your career. To quote Henry Ford: “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t – you’re right.” Stay confident and keep pushing forward. Your thoughts shape your reality.

I don’t think I’ve admitted to anyone that one of the best things that happened to me this year is re-joining a book club. Seriously, I can’t go anywhere without a book tucked under my arm. Last week, #CherryBlossom Book Club of The Ladies Book Breakfast Forum dug into Chapters 3 & 4 of #FindingMe, and let me tell you, this story has layers. Here are some standout insights that made me pause, reflect, and scribble furiously in the margins: - i) The Power of Imagination and Aspiration Viola Davis' childhood, shaped by poverty and hardship, was a testament to resilience. Her dreams weren’t mere fantasies but vital lifelines, offering hope beyond her circumstances. Sometimes, the first step to changing your life is daring to imagine a different one—even when the odds say otherwise. Dream big, not just for the sake of it, but because that vision could be your escape route. ii) Identity and Self-Acceptance Viola battles with her sense of self, bearing scars from a lifetime of struggle. Accepting her identity was no easy feat—it’s finding calm in a storm. Her story speaks to a universal truth: self-acceptance isn’t a finish line, but a journey, earned layer by layer. iii) Authenticity vs. Conformity In Hollywood, there’s pressure to fit a mold. For Viola, it meant wrestling with roles that didn’t reflect her truth, that didn’t honor her story. But instead of conforming, she chose authenticity, risking career setbacks to stay true to herself. There’s power in honoring your own voice. Being authentic might mean fewer easy wins, but ultimately, it’s what brings the deepest sense of fulfillment. iv) Defining Success on Your Terms Viola’s journey challenges the notion of success we so often chase. Her success isn’t the glitzy red carpets or shiny awards; it’s the hard-earned sense of self she’s fought for, through all the messiness. She’s redefined what winning looks like. It’s about resilience, integrity, and refusing to let anyone else write her story. Maybe success isn’t as straightforward as the world tells us it is. Maybe it’s about finally feeling like we’re enough. v) Healing and Forgiveness Viola journey is one of profound healing, rooted in forgiveness. She has learned to release resentment and extend grace to those and parts of her past that may not deserve it. Forgiveness, for her, is not about what others are owed, but about granting herself the peace that comes with it. This raw, unglamorous healing is vital. In a world fixated on “the win,” Viola’s story challenges us to look at the painful, the messy, and the hard-to-define as the true markers of growth. If you’ve been putting off this read, do yourself a favor; grab a copy, dive in, and let it remind you that every chapter of your life, no matter how imperfect, has something powerful to say.
