🖍 The not-so-secret sauce of change efforts . . . . . . is people, process + pipes. Not just process – the jobs to be done and associated workflow. Not just pipes – the advanced sets of analytics and technology. But people. > Tending to those GUIDING on behalf of the change > Tending to those BUILDING process and pipes for the change > Tending to those DRIVING business with the change And even though people, process + pipes is no secret, change efforts rarely serve all three effectively. Well, not until Modern Leadership arrived. If you’re thinking, wondering + asking. . . > How does the PRESENSE of Modern Leadership impact our transformation? > How does the ABSENSE of Modern Leadership impact our transformation? Then you should know resilience and risk intelligence for Modern Leadership is here. It’s right here right now just for you and your team. Sending much 🙏 to Vanessa McDonald for joining me in the Rejuvi 45 ‘Tell Me Cause I Wanna Know’ conversation. It’s time to snap a new chalkline. In a world addicted to complexity, I'm increasingly drawn to leaders who have the courage to simplify. 'Cause it ain't easy. Having relentless focus. Cutting through noise to find clarity and drive action when 43 new variables come out you every week in HARD. And, it can have some real pay-offs for leaders who stick to simple. Like: 👉 Clear Vision: Helps you articulate a vision that everyone can understand and rally behind. 👉Effective Communication: Simple messages are easier to remember and share. 👉Faster Decision Making: By focusing on what truly matters, you (and your team) can make decisions more quickly and confidently. 👉Improved Execution: Simple plans are easier to implement and adapt as needed. And, it's really easy to test for. Here are my faves: 👉 Elevator Pitch Test: Can you explain your strategy in 30 seconds? If not, simplify. 👉 The Outsider Challenge: Ask someone unfamiliar with your work to review your plans. If they can't grasp them quickly, rethink your approach. 👉 One-Page Discipline: Try to fit your key initiatives on one page. This forces you to prioritize ruthlessly. In leadership, what you choose to leave out (or relentlessly whack-a-mole) is often as important as what you include. And in a world designed for 'more', really effective leaders can win by doing less. What have you removed from your approach to make it more powerful? #Leadership #Simplicity #StrategicThinking #ExecutiveEffectiveness

⬜ “One of my biggest disappointments . . . . . . as I became a manager was receiving messages like, ‘Yeah, lead your team – but really – you’ve got to focus on these business results over here.’” Leadership has been decoupled from business performance. And our leaders – just like Martyn J Crook, Sharon Hoeting and Dr. Vidyotham Reddi Ph.D. – wish it was baked-in. With Modern Leadership, it is. > You’re folding the compassionate human plane > You’re twisting the fierce business plane > You’re turning the growth of all living things plane And just as origamists crimp, pleat + swivel their way to beautiful, dimensional designs, Modern Leaders do the same: > They’re compassionately thinking and driving > They’re fiercely building and sustaining > They’re steadfastly growing and achieving For their people. For their customers. For their businesses. For their communities. Need help mastering the folds, twists + turns of Modern Leadership? Need help mastering its development flywheel? Need help building this superpower in Modern Leaders? DM the Rejuvi Team for ideation and demo. ⬜ #leadership #innovation #analytics #strategy

Exploring Asymmetry and the Power of Three: Insights for Strategic Leadership Delving into the intricacies of asymmetry and its profound impact on decision-making in Judith Curry's enlightening article: Asymmetry and the Power of Three As a seasoned leader navigating complex landscapes, understanding the nuances of asymmetry is crucial. Curry's exploration sheds light on how asymmetrical information, perceptions, and power dynamics can significantly influence outcomes and strategies. 1. Asymmetric Information: One of the central themes discussed is the concept of asymmetric information, where parties involved in decision-making possess varying levels of knowledge. This imbalance can lead to challenges in negotiations, risk assessment, and the overall effectiveness of strategic plans. As leaders, recognizing and addressing these information gaps is key to making informed and impactful decisions. 2. Decision-Making Dynamics: The article delves into how asymmetry plays a role in decision biases, cognitive shortcuts, and risk perceptions. Understanding these dynamics allows leaders to navigate decision-making processes more effectively, mitigating potential biases and enhancing the quality of strategic choices. 3. Strategies for Success: Leveraging asymmetry as a strategic tool is another insightful aspect discussed. Rather than viewing asymmetry solely as a challenge, Curry suggests embracing it as an opportunity for innovation, creative problem-solving, and strategic advantage. By harnessing the power of asymmetry, leaders can drive forward-thinking initiatives and navigate complex environments with agility and foresight. Curious to delve deeper into the world of asymmetry and its implications for strategic leadership? I highly recommend reading the full article here to gain valuable insights and perspectives. https://lnkd.in/gz_AvyNH What are your thoughts on asymmetry in decision-making and its impact on strategic leadership?
