My weekly routine as a charity CEO. I find I’m most productive if I have a structured week, here’s how my average week looks… 1️⃣ MONDAY: is ‘team alignment day’. I have most of my regular team meetings on a Monday. I find that spreading them out across the week is a false economy. I’d rather spend one full day of these kind of meetings and then leave the rest of the week clear for other things. 2️⃣ TUESDAY: One to one day. I can have more impact on the charity if I can help others within the team achieve their goals than just spending the day working on my own stuff. So most of Tuesday is spent in 1:1s with the team. 3️⃣ WEDNESDAY: is a ‘regular’ work day. I’ll usually try to schedule any external meetings for Wednesdays. I’ll do regular work and project tasks. Whatever is the priority. 4️⃣ THURSDAY: is meeting free Thursday! I’m often at home. No meetings = a great opportunity for deep work. 5️⃣ FRIDAY: is like a Wednesday but the whole team will come together during our Huddle to share wins and good news from the week. As we begin to enter the upcoming week, here are a few activities to focus on to achieve or #exceed #results and help yourself #grow as well - Breathe, take a walk, work out or find something that gives you comfort internally and grows you #physically - Find a valuable book to read or other activities that allow you to grow and gain skills #mentally - Take time to have a great conversation with a coworker or grab lunch or have dinner. Find something that allows you to take away a constant focus 100% on work #nonstop - Make a phone call to a friend, enjoy family time, provide support to a nonprofit or another organization that you value to let you build your #internal #satisfaction - Make exciting plans upcoming that make this week fly by and let you enjoy each day more and more as you approach the upcoming activities to build #comfort and #replenishment These are just a few things to think about as we enter the new week. You should definitely complete your work activities, but also find time for you, your family and your friends.

What’s inspiring you to get going this Monday morning ? Or would you have preferred to stay under the duvet ? My “get-to -do -list” ( thanks for that motivating term, Monique Carayol) ❌Was looking a wee bit scary 😱 ❌And my desk was too cluttered. 🙌🏼So I’ve, added a money plant 🪴 to my desk 🙌🏼and I’ve lit a calm candle 🕯️ 🙌🏼I’ve put my fave picture on my office wall and 🙌🏼I’ve journaled my daily intentions 🙌🏼Then, I’ve broken my “get to do list” down into manageable projects linked to my bigger goals. Oh, and I’ve spent time stroking my dog 🐶 , Bingo . He’s my morale officer and the brains 🧠 of the operation at Heart-Centred Leaders HQ! 💜Now I’m feeling ready to get going, easy n relaxed rather than striving and stressing! 🙋♀️So, what’s getting you feeling inspired this morning?
