Why do some achievements feel hollow while others fill us with deep satisfaction? I've noticed something interesting: When I'm obsessed with the outcome - downloads, revenue, recognition - every day feels like a battle. My mind is always in the future, controlled by numbers I can't fully control. But when I shift to embracing the effort - the craft, the learning, the small improvements - something magical happens.
