Recirculate’s Post

Stellantis and Factorial Energy are advancing EV technology with the development of FEST (Factorial Electrolyte System Technology) solid-state batteries. These batteries offer an energy density exceeding 390 Wh/kg, promising longer driving ranges and enhanced safety compared to traditional lithium-ion batteries. FEST technology combines a lithium-metal anode, quasi-solid electrolyte, and a high-capacity cathode. This design merges the performance and safety benefits of solid-state electrolytes with the manufacturability of conventional lithium-ion batteries.
