For my Unicorns…. What started nearly 2 years ago as a tongue in cheek comment has become the reason many of you know who I am today. 🦄 It is the reason that my client base has grown so rapidly, having had great success this year in the UK, Ireland, Gibraltar and Canada. I noticed a gap in the market, I noticed a shortage of Detailers, Designers and Draughtsman in the steel industry. But as I set to work on building my network, something else happened… I started to understand the work of Draughtsman was so misunderstood and so undervalued. A role imperative to any project life cycle, that wasn’t just drawing and having knowledge of a software package, a role that makes talented, creative, intelligent, passionate individuals absolutely as rare as unicorns. This year we have had some of the most incredibly valuable conversations on this platform, and I truely believe that on some level these conversations are making a difference, even if just a small one! I’m greatful to every comment, every inmail, every like and every share! Without you guys, I’d have no unicorns to hunt!! So as I turn my out of office on today, I want to thank each and everyone of my clients, my candidates and my linked in connections for their continued support. I hope you all have a well rested and deserved Christmas Break, and I can’t wait to see you all and speak with you all in 2025 💪🏻 Merry Christmas Unicorns Yours truely The Unicorn Hunter 🦄

18hGreat post Rebecca A lot of the time, designers/draughtsman and detailers are overlooked as to what we bring to a project After all is said and done, the final product or deliverable is a 3D model or 2D drawing Which represents the company’s reputation I like to refer to good designers as hens teeth, they are very hard to find or don’t exist but unicorns has a nice ring to it
