The 2023 ABA TechReport revealed that while technology budgets vary among firms, there is a growing recognition of its importance across the board. Nearly all respondents from large firms (100+ lawyers) reported having a dedicated technology budget, while smaller firms are focusing their investments on areas such as hardware upgrades, marketing technology, and mobile solutions. As clients demand more efficient, secure, and accessible legal services, the pressure is on for legal professionals to embrace cutting-edge tools and platforms. Artificial intelligence, blockchain, and smart contracts are just a few of the emerging technologies poised to disrupt traditional legal practice. However, adopting these innovations requires more than just financial investment; it also demands a cultural shift and a commitment to ongoing education and training. My question is how will legal educators and legal education institutions meet this growing demand for tech education and training? I'm Colin, Director of Legal and Evangelist at Malbek - CLM for Enterprise. I am your guide to the world of legal tech.  Please follow me, buy my book, and subscribe to my LinkedIn Newsletter. #legaltech #innovation #law #business #learning
