As we wrap up Q2 and head into summer, the Berkshires real estate market continues to be very active! Here's a breakdown of what's happening: 🔹 Home Prices 🔹 The prices of homes have been on the rise, but those increases vary widely depending on the location and type of property. Generally, there's a higher demand for homes with more space. North county, particularly Williamstown has seen an increase in prices, low inventory and consistently strong demand. 🔹 Inventory Levels 🔹 Inventory continues to remain tight though we've seen a slight uptick in the last moth. Available properties over 2M have increased significantly. 🔹 Interest Rates 🔹 Interest rates have been fluctuating. When rates go up, it can slow down the number of people looking to buy because their monthly payments will be higher.
