✔️ So you loaded your data into your viz tool. 🤔 Now, how do you start your analysis? 🪜 The 1st (and often skipped) step is to verify that the data arrived unscathed. 🧩 You may have had lots of joins across disparate sources that caused an issue. 🔧 Or maybe someone implemented a "fix" and didn't inform you. Basic checks include: ✔️Number of Records of entire data source ✔️Universe of values within subsets of major dimensions (i.e. group by). Same check within sub-dimensions ✔️Number of Records within subsets of major dimensions against known values in another tool (Excel, Python, R, SQL in database connection) Same check within sub-dimensions (possibly as a crosstab) ✔️Validate at least a couple measures within dimensions - sums, means, ratios ✔️Trends include entire expected time range ✔️General scan for unexpected nulls You don't have to do all of these every time, but simply forging ahead without any validation of whether the data arrived properly is guaranteed to bite you. ⌛ It's just a matter of time. ⛵ Happy Exploring! 🏗→🧠 Build to Learn! 💭🚶♀️🚶♂️ Follow for more. #tableau #data #analytics #VizoftheRay

Something I am always at pains to explain to less experienced analysts is the value of exploring and understanding your data before you start any serious analysis or chart/dashboard building

There are few very effective tool for analyzing data. A brief introduction about them. 1. Excel - for smaller-scale (i.e., roughly 1 million rows of data or fewer) data analytics. It comes with robust analytical functions s.a. calculation, graphing and grouping etc. 2. Tableau - strong focus on visualization 3. SQL - programming language designed specifically for manipulating data in relational databases 4. Hello Everyone 🙂 How we can get a result using Numeric query in SQL In SQL their are some conditions this is i learned today from SQL course 1 . And ,or operators = ex : If we have multiple values and we need exact result {value 1................value 2} like this that time we use this 'AND ,OR operator 2. < =< > >= operators = using these operators we can campier some values to each other 3 .Between = we can get a results between two values that time we use 'BETWEEN' operator 4 IN = if we have few such year/values that time we use 'IN' Operator 5 Order by = it will give you a ascending and descending value as simple you know that 6 limit, offset = using this operator we get a top few result, and using offset we get a 2nd highest ,3rd highest like that type of result #Data analytics #sql #Exel #Power bi #python @codebaisc.io #codebasic.io

I'd like to share this marketing analytics project inspired by an YouTube tutorial! Using Python, SQL, and Power BI to extract valuable insights from the data : - SQL: This step involved walking through various SQL transformations applied to each dataset table, preparing the data for visualization in Power BI. - Python: Applied advanced sentiment analysis to gain deeper insights into customer feedback and improve decision-making. - Power BI: Designed and developed an interactive dashboard to visualize The focus was on: · Conversion Rates: Tracked fluctuations and identified peak months. · Customer Engagement: Analyzed interaction rates across different content types. · Customer Feedback: Conducted sentiment analysis to identify positive and negative trends. #Day6 - LeetCode SQL Challenge: Game Play Analysis I 🔍 Problem Statement: Given a table Activity that logs player events in a game, we need to find the first login date for each player. 🗂 Table Structure: Column Type Description player_id int ID of the player event_date date Date of the event event_type varchar Type of event (login, logout) 💡 Example Data: player_id event_date event_type 1 2016-03-01 login 1 2016-05-02 logout 2 2017-06-25 login 3 2016-03-01 login 3 2016-05-21 logout 🎯 Solution: To determine each player’s first login date, we use SQL’s MIN() function on event_date and filter for only login events. SELECT player_id, MIN(event_date) AS first_login FROM Activity WHERE event_type = 'login' GROUP BY player_id; 📝 Explanation: 1. Filter - We only want login events, so we use WHERE event_type = 'login'. 2. Aggregation - MIN(event_date) helps us retrieve the earliest login date per player. 3.
