🌊 From Tugboats to Container Ships - The Evolution of My Role 🚢 When I first started in the shipping industry, it had a significant impact on me. I've grown to enjoy what I do. There were countless challenges, but also possibilities for learning and growth. My role evolved over time, as did the number of people I met during the last 14 years. Switching from a local to an international shipping company. Despite more duties and stakes, there is greater possibility for impact than ever before. ⭐️ Here are a few things I've learned on this journey: 🔹 Adaptability is Key: Just as a ship must navigate changing tides and weather, our roles require us to be flexible and open to new challenges. 🔹 Teamwork Matters: Collaboration and communication have become the bedrock of our success. I'm grateful for my colleagues' and team support, which have made this journey both enriching and fulfilling. As we continue to reach new milestones, I'm excited to see where this journey will take us. 🌍⚓️

When things go against your plan💥 Can you remember one time things didn’t go as you thought they would, but what happened instead turned out to be even more fulfilling?🍀 In life we plan lot of things, our career, our relationships, our success. If I had to describe my journey at Caylent in one word, it would be: Empowering! 💡 You may not know this, but November is National Career Development Month, a time to focus on growth, learning, and opportunity. I'm proud to share how Caylent is leading the way with initiatives that empower our people to succeed! 👇 This year, as a one-person team, I've had the privilege of leading our Career Development initiative, a project I'm incredibly passionate about. From day one, I've partnered with leaders across Caylent to create career tracks that help Cayliens understand their current skill set and map out their path to the next level. It hasn't always been easy. Gathering feedback and aligning expectations with a variety of stakeholders has been challening. But it truly takes a village. 🫶 The leaders I've worked with at Caylent have been nothing short of amazing... collaborative, proactive, and supportive! Together, we've built something that celebrates growth and empowers our people to thrive. This is a reminder of why I love what I do, to create opportunities for others to grow, develop, and succeed! Feeling Blessed & Grateful: What You and I Can Learn from This Journey You and I both know that life’s journey isn’t always straightforward—it’s filled with twists, turns, and unexpected pivots. But here’s the thing: every step, no matter how different, brings you closer to where you’re meant to be. As I look back on my transition from supply chain management to real estate, and now into web development, I realize how blessed I am to have experienced such diverse industries. And through this, you and I can learn a few things: Embrace Change: You and I are capable of more than we think. Whether it’s moving from one industry to another or picking up a completely new skill, every new step is a learning opportunity. Adaptability is Key: You and I will face moments where we feel out of place, but trust that your previous experiences—whether in negotiations, client relations, or technical development—are preparing you for something greater. Continuous Growth: Learning never stops. You and I should always seek out opportunities to evolve. For me, embracing no-code platforms like Bubble.io opened new doors, but the real growth came from pushing myself to master it. Passion Fuels Success: Whether you're helping manage vendors, selling property, or building digital platforms, when you love what you do, it shows in your results. You and I both know that passion isn’t just a feeling—it’s a driving force. Today, as I create innovative solutions through my own agency, I can’t help but reflect on how far this journey has come. And if there’s one thing I hope you and I remember: success is about the journey, not just the destination. Here’s to the continuous climb, and to appreciating every step along the way. Looking back on this journey, I realise how important it is to be grateful for those who supported me along the way – my team, mentors, clients, and even those who doubted me. Everyone played a part in shaping the path. Success isn’t just what you achieve – it’s also about who you bring along on the journey.
