Digital transformation and AI is now !!

I love the direction that SAP just announced. If you are thinking about your S4hana transformation, stop and think again, the world of ERP will change in 2025, look up from your plan and take a moment to see the future.... SAP joins the push for agentic #AI, but they take it one step beyond, In my opinion SAP at their tech keynote just showed how the future of ERP systems should look like..... 3 things that stood out for me: 1) I think most interesting piece is not AI agents like JOULE but the fact that joule will have more contextual awareness within SAP because of the addition of knowledge graph engine so you can build a more solid foundation for training the models you use and make sure it actually understands your business. 2) Also the fact that joule will be a more collaborative agent stood out for me, as there will be a need for communication across enterprise application. SAP now covers 80% of the workflows, but Bidirectional communication between the different agents will be key to reach the mystical 100%. 3) SAP embraces an open source thinking with the addition of Open-source models that will be available on the SAP Generative AI Hub: Meta’s Llama 3.1 70B model, Mistral Large 2 (available by the end of 2024), and Mistral Codestral. Stay curious 🧐 2025 will rock the world of ERP. Exciting times in the world of enterprise application now that SAP joins the others in the pursuit of AI. I would advice all my SAP colleagues go and dive into SAPs new AI capabilities because it will affect your job profoundly... The SAP TECH leaders like Dr. Philipp Herzig Juergen Mueller are rocking it. Side note for CIO's and leaders, in my personal opinion you should think about your transformation strategy for your systems like SAP, It is as pivotal of a point as the introduction of S4hana, but this time my feeling is it will go faster then we think...Questions to ask yourself: - How will this new AI direction affect my workflows? - How will it affect my programming, integration and extension? - How will my workforce change, what capabilities do I need? - How will my data look like to feed the AI, what do I need to change?
