This Holiday season, I hope, as always, for peace and goodwill to prevail. For me, the #Christmas tree is the epitome of that unquenchable #hope - that greenery and life can prevail in the harshest depths of #winter. This simple act of transformation – bringing a tree indoors and making it sparkle with beauty – speaks to our deep human desire to create light in times of darkness, to find joy even in challenging moments. Like the steadfast #evergreen, may our collective wishes for a better future remain strong and unshakeable, reminding us that spring’s promise of #renewal and #rebirth is never far away. Perhaps this is why the tradition has endured for so long – it speaks to something fundamental in the human spirit: our capacity to hope, to find beauty, and to always believe in better days ahead. I wish you all joy.
Ram Mudambi what an eloquent way to describe a Christmas tree. As someone who spent most christmases in Canada as a youth and the bulk of the rest in Asia as an adult, I had never thought of an xmas tree as little more than the signpost for presents!
What a beautiful tribute and message of light and hope! Merry Christmas Ram and all!
Beautiful and majestic. Inspiring and profound. Love it 😊
Well said. Merry Christmas, Tam! 🎄⭐
happy holidays!

3dBeautiful words and the tree! Usually, I'm bracing myself for academic rigor when I read your work—didn't know you had a poetic side too! Is this a new research methodology I'm unaware of?
