Don't Forget the "Stealth" User! As UX designers, it's easy to get laser-focused on the target user during the design process. But remember, there's another crucial user in the room: the business owner. Think of them as "stealth users": they don't directly interact with the product, but their needs are equally important for success. They have specific business goals, like revenue generation and user acquisition, that the product needs to address. Here's why balancing both user types matters: ↳Understanding business goals helps prioritize features: Knowing what the business needs allows you to focus on features that address both user needs and revenue generation. ↳ User testing with both groups provides valuable insights: Gathering feedback from both target users and business owners unveils a broader picture, ensuring the product meets everyone's needs. ↳ Align and Communicate: Align all stakeholders on the product vision and goals, ensuring everyone understands the importance of balancing user and business needs.
