I’m beyond excited to share that our team, Diet Vision, has just won 3rd place in the Lablab NEXT Hackathon! 🥉 Ever wondered what your plate says about your health? That's exactly what we set out to explore. When we started this project, we had one goal in mind: to create something that could truly make a difference in people’s lives. In a world where chronic diseases are on the rise and personalized healthcare is more crucial than ever, that’s where Diet Vision comes in. Imagine a world where managing your diet and health is as simple as wearing a bracelet. Diet Vision combines a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) with a sleek armband that snaps photos of your meals. From there, our AI does the heavy lifting—analyzing calories, and nutrients, and connecting the dots with your glucose levels. It’s like having a personal nutritionist and health coach right on your wrist. Our journey doesn't end here. This achievement is just the beginning, and we're beyond excited for what's next. I'm delighted to share my participation in the Semicolon 2024 Hackathon hosted by Persistent Systems🥳. It marked my first time joining such an event, and I truly appreciated the opportunity to interact with a diverse group of individuals and exchange valuable insights😌. Our challenge was addressing the lack of civic engagement in India, with the proposed solution being a gamified platform called CityQuest. This initiative aims to improve waste management, save costs for the city, analyze data for trends, enhance city planning, and promote innovative solutions through public-private partnerships. Using React Three.js Library for 3D models and Firebase, housing societies can earn points for civic activities, fostering community involvement. Insights gained: 1. Recognizing the value of working together to turn intricate concepts into reality. 2. Understanding the necessity of adjusting and managing tasks effectively during challenging times. 3. Experiencing the profound fulfillment of contributing to the betterment of communities through creation.
