The time has come to think 🤔 💭 Is it imperative to capture screenshot for every test step in test automation irrespective of the automation framework followed? It is necessary to capture screenshot for every test step when it comes to manual testing as the tester has to prepare the test case execution report as evidence. Can't we take screenshot only for the validation step and attach the same to the test execution report in test automation? It can reduce the test execution time. We can't reach the validation step directly in test automation by skipping the previous steps. I would like to hear the thoughts from my connections on the same. The Power of Automation in Regression Testing 🔁💥 Regression testing is a critical part of ensuring that updates and new features don't break existing functionality. But running these tests manually can be time-consuming and error-prone. That’s where automation comes to the rescue! 🔑 Key Advantages of Automated Regression Testing: 1️⃣ Speed: Run thousands of tests in minutes, not hours. 2️⃣ Accuracy: Eliminate the risk of human error, ensuring consistent results. 3️⃣ Cost Savings: Automating repetitive tasks frees up QA teams to focus on more complex, high-value testing. ⚙️ Tools like Selenium, Cypress, and TestNG make it possible to scale your regression testing suite without sacrificing quality. Plus, automated tests can be easily integrated into your CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast and reliable feedback after every code change. 💡 Pro Tip: Start small with your automation efforts, focusing on high-priority test cases, and then gradually expand your coverage. #RegressionTesting #TestAutomation #QAEngineering #CI_CD #ContinuousTesting #Selenium #Cypress

💡𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐯𝐬 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬𝐞𝐭, 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥💡 There’s a lot of conversation about Manual Testers vs. Automation Testers, but in reality, we’re all 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 — professionals committed to ensuring quality in software. The difference isn’t in who we are, but in the tools and techniques we use to execute tests. 🔍 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: Focuses on exploratory, ad-hoc, or user-experience-based testing where human intuition is key. 🤖 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: Leverages scripts and tools to run repetitive tests efficiently and accurately. At the core, both require a strong understanding of the product, critical thinking, and attention to detail. Automation is simply a skillset that enhances the testing process by improving speed and coverage, while Manual Testing adds a human touch where it's most needed. We are all here to ensure quality, whether we use our hands or code to do it. #QualityAssurance #ManualTesting #AutomationTesting #SoftwareTesting #Testers #Skillset #QACommunity #TestingMindset #SatinderPalKaur

🚀 Manual vs. Automation API Testing: Which is the Real Game-Changer? 🚀 In today’s fast-paced tech world, effective API testing can be the difference between a seamless product and endless bugs. But the big question is: Manual or Automation testing—what’s better? 🤔 Here’s a quick breakdown: 🔍 Manual API Testing Best for: 🌱 Exploratory Testing: Perfect for uncovering unexpected behaviors. 🛠️ Early Development Stages: APIs in flux benefit from the flexibility of manual tests. 🧩 Complex Scenarios: Hands-on testing often provides deeper insights. 🤖 Automation API Testing Ideal for: 🔄 Regression Testing: Run scripts repeatedly to catch issues in updates. 📈 High-Volume Testing: Automating high-frequency calls saves time. ⏱️ CI/CD Pipelines: Automation supports continuous integration and fast feedback. So, which is better? The answer often lies in a balanced approach—using manual testing for discovery and automation for efficiency. 💡 What’s your take? Do you rely more on manual testing, or is automation your go-to? Let’s discuss! 👇 #APITesting #ManualVsAutomation #QA #SoftwareTesting #TechTrends
