More than electricity." – Kai-Fu Lee, Chairman & CEO of Sinovation Ventures, Author of 'AI Superpowers' Kai-Fu's quote resonated deeply among our participants at AI Elevate, Harvard Business School's first international AI conference, which took place at the Museum of the Future in Dubai. As a member of the Steering Committee, I extend my sincere thanks to all those who helped make this milestone event a great success. We had the pleasure of hearing expert perspectives from entrepreneurs, investors, C-level executives and government leaders, including H.E. Omar Sultan AlOlama, Minister of State for AI, Digital Economy & Remote Work Applications. Grateful for having Pando, an Iron Pillar portfolio company, represented on the Start-Up Ecosystem & Innovation panel. The company's Co-Founder & CEO, Nitin Jayakrishnan, shared views on how Pando is leveraging AI to build a world-class logistics cloud company from India, with eventual plans to expand to the Middle East region. Another highlight was the opportunity to spend quality time with several faculty members from HBS, including those who are spearheading the Digital Data Design (D^3) Institute at Harvard.
