We're still buzzing with excitement from the Radcliffe Premier League 3! Our participants took to the field with passion, skill, and teamwork, showcasing the true spirit of sportsmanship. From the thrill of victory to the agony of defeat, every moment was a testament to their dedication and perseverance. And what made it even more special was the support of the parents! Their cheers, applause, and words of encouragement meant the world to our young champions. As we celebrate the winners and participants, we're reminded that the true prize is the journey itself—the friendships forged, the lessons learned, and the memories created. #cricket #crickettime #funtimes #competitiontime #Radcliffepremiereleague #education #knowledge #learning #learningisfunwithus #RadcliffeGroupOfSchool #radcliffeschools #Radcliffians

An awesome discussion in our office yesterday with a couple of Aussie basketball legends, with Brad Newley doing a great job interviewing Jack White. I really enjoyed the conversation and thought I'd share some of my personal takeaways: Overcoming adversity – Jack shared how he’d suffered a torn Achilles in his first season in the NBL. Jack spoke of the disappointment of having such a significant injury at the very start of his professional career, as well as his concern for the risk of losing some of the athleticism that makes him a special player. He endured and overcame by controlling what he could and working tirelessly on his recovery. Focus and dedication saw him come back in 9 months and you get the sense he’s stronger for overcoming the challenge. Whether we like it or not, we will all face forms of adversity in our lives. How we face up to that adversity, the actions we take, informs our chances to make the best of any situation and keep moving forward, ultimately growing from the experience. Learning from Mentors – Jack spoke of his experience with Coach K at Duke, Dean Vickerman’s leadership as well as learning from the accomplished veteran players he’d always looked up to from Melbourne, like Matthew Dellavedova, Chris Goulding and Brad Newley. By learning from others Jack shared that he expects that he has and will continue to make the most of his playing career. My observation is that those (in sport or business) that have the type of personality to want to learn from others, often later become great teachers and supporters of others down the track. This type of role model cycling is critical to foster in any organisation that wants to prosper over the long term. Keeping a balanced perspective – Sports (and business) can have highs and lows. With Melbourne United most recently moving from a big loss against the Breakers at the start of November, to then delivering 2 big wins over the last few days, resulting in moving to the top of the NBL ladder. Jack spoke to staying balanced, focusing on the process and avoiding getting too high or low after a good or less good game. Jack mentioned the belief and culture that has been instilled within the United team that they can bounce back if they put the work in, and have a track record of doing so. I thought this was a really interesting point, as belief and culture often becomes intertwined as long as it informs constructive action. Overall a great experience and we're very grateful that Jack and Brad gave us their time. Go United!
A big thank you to our special guests, Melbourne United basketball player Jack White and Commercial Executive Brad Newley, for speaking with our team. During the Q&A session, Jack shared valuable insights into his success on the court, emphasising the importance of controlling the controllables, maintaining consistency through the highs and lows of sport, and surrounding himself with great people. Our team gained a lot from this session, and we look forward to watching Jack’s career flourish as Melbourne United Basketball Club strives for another successful season. Go United! #MelbourneUnited #ENGIE

Foggy cold soccer mornings, it's a spiritual experience to witness the sun coming up on a quiet Fall field. In an hour it is filled with hundreds of kids as multiple soccer matches are played. Our team has five expectations and they repeat them every practice and game. They are expected to shake our referees hands and Thank them for their help with our match. They are expected to tell their opponents "Good Game" with a high five. Then as a team we nominate a player that showed the most of our team values for that particular day. We rise as a team, we fall as a team. It is a hard concept to learn, although they are young boys now, they will one day be men. My hope is that they remember some of the team values as they grow up and remember that kindness should never be forgotten on or off the field. Teach them and then you have to be an example yourself! Team Values of the Rainier Raptors: 1. Have Fun 2. Play Smart 3. Play Hard 4. Be a Good Teammate 5. Show Good Sportsmanship What values are you teaching and showing? #sundaymotivation #soccer #kindnessaboveall #teammate #respect

What are the Educational, Health, or Economic Benefits to these Players and their Families for that kids uncompensated participation in any additional “NON-SCHOLARSHIP” private third-party postseason football games that pay the Universities and the Conferences for the use of their free labor to put on these highly profitable Bowl events. The answer is ZERO! These additional 1-5 POSTSEASON games are also above the Players’ 12 game athletic scholarship agreement? Our Proposal offers Major Benefits in all three Categories to the Players and their Families! Scholarship Football Players are owed Hundreds of Millions of dollars from this year’s Media contract that uses these Players’ Name, Image, and Likeness NIL without any equitable financial consideration to the Players or their Families! This lost Money could have a major impact on these Players lives, the lives of their current and future family members for generations? We do not support, or agree with the House vs NCAA Settlement or the current covert attempts to extend and expand this Antitrust exploitation of our young (mostly minority) FB & BB Players' labor that the US Supreme Court and Federal District Court have recently struck down as illegal and implausible.
We are gearing up to welcome our 200+ athletes and administrators tomorrow to our third annual #NILSummit in Atlanta, GA at the College Football Hall of Fame 🏈 If you are attending the event this weekend, please feel free to reach out and connect! Student Athlete NIL #NIL #NILDeals #collegeathletes
