Corporate Fundraising Manager at Campaign Against Living Miserably

Today, Campaign Against Living Miserably launched our latest campaign. Highlighting that in the last 10 years, 6,929 young people in the UK have taken their own lives. A tragedy that we can all help prevent in the future. These aren’t just stats on a page. These are young people who tragically never got to celebrate their next birthday. Parent. Uncle. Teacher. Coach. We all have a role to play in keeping young people safe. And CALM’s C.A.R.E Kit is here to provide you with everything you need to be there for them. Sign up below for one week of expert suicide prevention advice straight to your inbox. And head to Westfield Shepherds Bush to see the installation 🎈 Together, we can end youth suicide. https://lnkd.in/eeZpzRNp

Great campaign but all that awful, toxic plastic.

At CALM, you never fail to astonish and stop us all in our tracks with these installations. I will never forget the Project 84. Thank you for continuing to advocate, and to grab attention where it's needed. 🙌 I really hope it translates into meaningful change, education & prevention, as I know you're aiming for.

This is the most beautiful campaign I’ve ever seen. What an emotional, tangible impact this will have.

I bet that's very impactful in real life. It's the same principle as when they drop the poppy petals from the roof of the Albert Hall on Remembrance Day. Taking something that normally represents joy and twisting it is a very powerful way to demonstrate the scale of loss. Well done Campaign Against Living Miserably.

My husband saw this campaign yesterday and was completely taken back by it. The campaign is incredibly emotional, highlighting the tragic loss of lives due to lack of mental health support. More must be done for our younger generation, with quicker access to help, fewer barriers instead of a constant fight to get help. Thank you for raising awareness.

All I can say is 'wow'. This is not a 'wow' where I am mesmerised, smiling or the feeling of butterflies ... This is the 'wow' of true heartfelt impact .. A 'wow' of a feeling like your heart just sank .. Very much a powerful thought provoking display - and that is just the picture🎈

I passed this yesterday without knowing what it was about (it is stunning), then I read this today. What an important issue to highlight. We all need to be kind, and choose leaders who are kind to us and all vulnerable people.
