So thankful to have been invited to speak at the Business Women's Forum. Thank you to everyone who had a part in it from Krystin Blauch and George Book, Jr. at West Shore Chamber of Commerce to Morgan Earnst at Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce, and many others who had a part in the event! I just got my feedback from the surveys and am flattered by the responses (still dealing with that pesky #impostersyndrome I think) and challenged by the advice for improving my presentations. In case this post happens to make it to the feed of the person who noted they wish they had access to the slides (first, let's thank the LinkedIn algorithm gods, if so), please reach out to me and we can connect to get you what you need! If you're the person who'd like to know more about how this can be used for nonprofits ... some words for you: Since I began at a nonprofit decades ago, my opinion has been that a nonprofit should function like a business, so take a little of that advice for B2Bs into consideration for your sponsorships and recruiting, plus some from the B2C for increasing your mission's awareness and fundraising campaigns, and you should be on your way to success. Or perhaps you are (or know) the person who I heard was recording parts of it? (I think???) I'd like to see/hear how I sound as a presenter. And, in general, marketing and advertising should be highly customized to your organization and your specific goals (Step 1) before getting into what demographic targeting you should be doing or other platforms you should be using. And we didn't have a full 8-hour day or 40-hour week to really get into the weeds on marketing alone. But if you want to brainstorm or talk more, maybe I'll see you at an upcoming American Marketing Association of Central PA event or elsewhere?? I'm always happy to talk marketing and media!
We were excited to share our expertise at last week's Business Women's Forum, where our Media Director, Colleen Jones, presented on Digital Marketing Strategies for Central Pennsylvania. #WomenInBusiness #marketing #digitalmarketing Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce West Shore Chamber of Commerce

Can I tell you why I personally choose to exclusively work with women? When we have truly deconstructed internal misogyny, we are too good together. There’s something so powerful about a woman who is such a champion of other women that she is willing to leverage her reputation for it. #womenhelpingwomen #womeninbusiness #femaleconsumers _________ Hi, I’m Shampaigne your go to expert for the buying behavior of women. When I started my business with just $20, it was strategic relationships with women that allowed me to start and stay in business. I knew that female focused organizations could use these same methods to create authentic relationships with their partners and customers. Knowing that marketing and sales departments are the heart of a business; I work with these teams through a series of workshops and trainings. When we say women want a brand that makes a point of elevating the voices and needs of women, this is why: Too often, people talk at, down to, or on behalf of women. How many women out there have had a man ignore or invalidate their expertise? How many women have had to remind their male peers that they’re speaking? How many women have had to fight for credit for their ideas? Women are downright weary. Brands have content channels and access to large audiences; it’s time to give women a platform. Be intentional. Be bold. Bolster women’s voices—there’s no such thing as too much.
