IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN POWER AND ENERGY? The post below provides poetic descriptions that have significant meaning for what we know as math and science today. In ancient Vedic times, Dharma served as a complete set of knowledge and practice. Dharma was experientially verified and vindicated and that is why Hinduism, anciently known as Sanatana Dharma, is scientific. Dharma was vindicated by means of ganita, which used to serve as both physics/science and math seamlessly. Today, people following modern science & modern religions, namely Abrahamic religions, do not understand how a female personification can be equated with a male personification of God or the Supreme Godhead. That's just it. These are personifications for us, little humans, to grasp Nature. Today's modern science finally have come to using terms like energy and power. But hardly anyone knows the difference between them. Is there a difference? Oh yes! It is a very important one. It must be distinguished and both energy and power should be given equal importance through the distinction. Lost? Don't blame anyone. Why? Because Fourier never proved why Fourier Transforms are valid. Fourier has been given the saint status because his so-called discoveries seem to work and enable us to build communication systems and other technologies. Who can prove why Fourier Transforms are true in general? Not just for time and temporal frequency relationships. Bhakti is the stage of love, affection, devotion, and dependence on others without expecting anything in return. Offering love and devotion is known as bhakti. Anything done to Lord Krishna without expecting anything in return is called Krishna bhakti. This loving exchange is the essence of bhakti. If you expect something in return, it is not bhakti but karma kanda. In the Vedas, there is a section called karma kanda where performing sacrifices yields results. Various sacrifices have been performed in the past to achieve desired results. Lord Rama's father, Dasaratha Maharaja, performed the putresti sacrifice or yajna, which resulted in him having four male children. Therefore, there are various sacrifices that one can perform to get different results. People perform sacrifices for different reasons, but when it comes to Lord Vishnu, the sacrifices are carried out purely out of love and duty without expecting anything in return. This is why devotion to Lord Krishna is considered the highest form of spirituality. Bhaktas, or devotees, are highly respected in the material world because they seek to offer love, affection, and respect to Lord Krishna without any selfish motives.
