Today’s ‘Ask Me Anything’ response is to Rochelle Schwartz, who asked, “How do you recognize a breakthrough brand and market offering?” An amazing new market offering will usually make you ask yourself, “why didn’t I think of that?"🙄 I find that the best products often emerge from needs we have in our own lives that are not sufficiently being met by the current competition. Similarly, how inclined you feel to adopt a product into your own life is usually a good first indicator of a bigger market opportunity. Then that offering needs to be able to demonstrate that it’s better the competition and why. Brands that people fall in love with are authentic and true to themselves.
