Whenever Rahul talks about " Caste census ", in Parliament, BJP becomes tense and aggressive. Why? Because this will expose them about very less representation of Backward class in executives and judiciary. That Dalits, Backward classes, and minorities are not proportionately represented are facts and these pain BJP because this narrative has challenged their Hindu perception and vote banks. It's also a fact that PDA forms majority of population and ignoring them by any party is sure to loose. That is the reason why BJP has lost in UP and INDIA alliance has won led by SP Supremo Akhilesh Yadav. Now, Rahul Gandhi has found an antidote of Caste Census against Hindu agenda of BJP. BJP is going to face this in all forthcoming elections. The recent assembly by-elections prove this point. If PDA combine vote for INDIA alliance, BJP is going to loose. Apart from this, youth resent against unemployment, farmers want MSP, women protest against exploitation, poor resent price rise, MSE doesn't like GST and middle class suffer higher dose of taxes. Only happy are crony capitalists. How long will this regime continue. Not longer. This third term is challenging for BJP as it is surviving on support by dubious JDU and TDP, once opposing BJP. Rahul has changed his image. Whatever people may say about him, he is gaining popularity. He is honest and frank, not crooked. He accepts his mistakes and corrects it. People have a short memory. They forgot emergency and elected Indira again because Janata Dal didn't deliver. Similarly, they will accept INDIA alliance when BJP will fail.

As per the census report of 2011, India has a population of over 121 crores. Recent studies show that it has crossed more than 140 crores. Even though more than 96 crore people are registered in the Election Commission of India, only 543 seats are allocated in parliament for MPs. Wherever Rahul Gandhi has gone in UP, he has raised the issue of caste census. The Congress feels that just as the BJP has polarized society based on religion, they can polarize society along caste lines to counter the BJP's Ram Mandir plank. However, the caste census, despite multiple attempts by the Congress, is not gaining enough traction. There are multiple reasons for this, but foremost is that the "Mandal" card has been played so many times that people of the OBC community have moved on from it. Additionally, OBC is not a monolithic community; many communities are apprehensive that upper OBC groups will counter any benefits that increased reservation may bring, leaving lower OBCs in the same state as before. Moreover, the Congress lacks the cadre strength in North India to effectively explain the benefits of caste census to the people. In UP, most OBC castes are tied to one party or another, and raising the caste census issue will help these parties rather than the Congress, which lacks significant OBC leaders at any level. #loksabhaelection2024 #elections2024 #castecensus #rahulgandhi

As a result, I hope to see more focus on quality education and employment that will leverage the young demographics.
