I started to work in a DS team in June of the last year. I started to post regularly about DS topics in October of the last year. I try to integrate myself into the DS community by attending events and workshops. And you know what I find very confusing all of this time? The incredibly small participation of frontend engineers in the whole process. - They don’t speak at events & workshops -They are barely discussing about DS topics - I’m not aware of a single DS engineer creator on LI -There are little to no open positions specifically for DS engineers Everywhere I look, I see UX & UI or product designers. Just recently, I attended the Into Design Systems Conference 🟢 May 15-17 Meta Meetup online. There were over 1000 online participants. But I only stumbled across 3-4 frontend engineers. That’s a damn small amount… So what do I miss? Is it due to frontend engineers themselves? Are they too shy or just not interested? Is it just my bubble/network? Are designs usually created and just handed over to a “random” frontend engineer? Or are there really teams, where both designers and specialized engineers are integral parts of the DS team? --- ♻️ Like or repost if you find this post useful, to help me reach and help more people ⏩ Follow me for daily technical tips & overall news from the design system universe

🚀 Calling all UI/UX Wizards! 🎨 I'm working on an exciting new project—a non-streak habit formation app designed to help people break or build habits in a fun, stress-free way, now with an added twist inspired by neuroscience! 🧠 We're visualizing habit creation and breaking with a creative perspective—exploring the connections between the mind, technology, and nature. Think neural pathways lighting up, breaking old chains, and sprouting new ideas! 🌱✨ I'm looking for a creative and passionate UI/UX developer to join me on this journey! If you're someone who loves designing clean, intuitive, and engaging interfaces—and you’re excited by the idea of making behavior change look and feel awesome—let's connect! This could be a contractual gig or a profit-sharing opportunity depending on what works best for both of us. If you're into meaningful projects and want to be part of something awesome, hit me up! 🙌 Feel free to DM or drop a comment if you're interested or know someone who might be! Let’s make habit change a little easier (and way more fun) together! 💡 Shubham Nagure Jay Bhavsar #UIUX #Developer #HabitApp #Startup #Opportunities #Contractor #Freelance #AppDesign #Flutter #Collaboration #Neuroscience #Creativity

UX in video games can make or break the title. When it's great, everything is greater. When it's not so great, the whole experience gets taken down. This is an important role with a major remit. https://lnkd.in/gRNwyVgH #hiring
The speed, responsiveness, and fluidity of the UX in our games wouldn't be possible without incredible engineers. Join us, and be part of the team that puts player experience above all. #hiring #videogames #engineers Apply here: https://lnkd.in/gRNwyVgH

𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 As a product designer and software developer, I specialize in front-end development, but my journey here has been quite the ride! 🚀 I started out in back-end, moved to full-stack, and eventually found my passion in product design and front-end work 🎨. Why front-end? Because I love design, and front-end lets me bring visual experiences to life. ✨ Along the way, I’ve learned something valuable, it’s super helpful to know a little about a range of tech stacks, even if they’re not your main thing. 💼 You don’t have to be a master of everything, but having that basic knowledge means that when an opportunity in another area pops up, you’re not starting from zero—you already have a starting point. 🌱 And here’s the kicker, while it’s great to explore, specializing in a particular tech stack is key. There’s a saying in tech: “If you claim to be good at everything, you’re probably just average at all of it.” Specialization is what truly makes you excel. But having a working knowledge of what’s out there? That’s how you stay adaptable, collaborative, and ready for anything. 🌍 So, keep learning, explore the basics of what’s common, and go deep in what you love! 🔍💻 #SoftwareDevelopment #TechJourney #CareerGrowth #TechSkills #Learning #ProfessionalDevelopment #TechCareers #UXDesign #ProductDesign #UserExperience #DesignThinking #Networking #CareerAdvice
