I would like to think that AI will mean faster drug discovery, groundbreaking treatments for legacy issues (eg malaria and other things that wreak havoc on developing nations) and cheaper medications for all. But sadly what I believe will happen is that drug companies will indeed find more drugs more quickly and use those 'reduced costs' to make more money.
