Telemedicine as a concept is good only for patient enquiries. Before starting the journey of DocsTribe AI to empower hospitals to outreach the right patient with right care protocols, we actually tried to do lot of things with telemedicine. Even we created apps and onboarded 100 people on the platform. The idea didn't seem to work much because a very quintessential thing is missed in telemedicine. That aspect is the doctor's touch! The idea of a patient interaction post they have symptoms or they are following a care regime post discharge is a dire need to create an actual impact. Hence, one should focus on specifics of getting the patient to the doctor irrespective of they feel they don't need the care but through their vitals and past history captured through different touch points.

5 Stories: Cardiologists Who Missed Out by Ignoring a Custom Telemedicine App 1. The Cardiologist Who Lost Touch A top cardiologist rejected the idea of a custom telemedicine app, convinced that in-person visits were the only way to provide quality care. As telehealth gained traction, his patients began switching to providers who offered quick, secure video consultations, prescription refills, and real-time data sharing, leaving him struggling to retain his patient base. 2. The Clinic That Struggled with Follow-Ups A leading cardiology clinic relied on phone calls and paperwork for post-procedure follow-ups, causing delays and patient frustration. Without an app to provide instant updates, easy communication, or appointment scheduling, the clinic found it hard to track recovery progress. Meanwhile, competitors using telemedicine apps were able to offer streamlined follow-up care, leading to better outcomes and higher patient satisfaction. 3. The Cardiologist Who Missed Remote Monitoring A cardiologist resisted adopting a branded app for remote patient monitoring. While other practices used apps to track patients' heart rates, blood pressure, and vitals in real-time, this practice fell behind. Patients began seeking out cardiologists who could monitor their health from home and intervene early if anything went wrong, leading to a decline in referrals. 4. The Practice That Overlooked Convenience A cardiology practice chose not to invest in a custom app, believing that their current systems were good enough. However, patients grew frustrated with long wait times and the inconvenience of coming into the office for routine check-ups. They moved to cardiologists who offered telemedicine apps, allowing them to book appointments, check results, and consult remotely, all from the comfort of their homes. 5. The Cardiologist Who Missed Out on Data Integration A cardiologist dismissed the importance of a custom app to integrate with wearable health tech and patient data. While other cardiologists provided apps that synced with patients' smartwatches or health monitors, this doctor struggled with outdated paper logs. Patients, wanting a more modern, data-driven approach, moved to practices that could integrate and analyze their health metrics seamlessly. Cardiologists are at the forefront of life-saving care, but without a custom telemedicine app, you risk losing patients to more tech-forward competitors. A branded app can streamline remote monitoring, follow-up care, and communication, keeping your practice ahead of the curve.
