Last week we were about to lose a client! And I got a lifelong advice: "Don't change yourself to fit the client's way. Make them fit into your way of working." Shoutout to Deep Patel, the Vice President at AtliQ Technologies! Over his impactful four-year journey with Atliq, he's been an unwavering pillar of strength. From tackling small tasks to sealing deals with giants, his leadership has been unparalleled. We closely collaborate and brainstorm strategies whenever a potential client comes into play. 1 - Build a strong relationship with your manager: A supportive manager is crucial for getting promoted. If you have a bad relationship with your manager, it's essential to either repair it or find a new team with a better manager. 2 - Focus on projects that align with company needs and values: Don't just chase projects that sound impressive on paper. Identify what your company values and prioritize projects that address those needs. 3 - Meet and exceed expectations at your current level before taking on next-level work If your boss does not like you, you will not get the good projects to work on anyway. More importantly, your achievement will be simply ignored by your boss.

100 Days at NextTrade : The Real Journey The first 100 days at NextTrade have been some of the most challenging and rewarding days of my life. There were days I wanted to give up—days filled with doubt, where I questioned whether I had what it took to lead. I’ll admit, there were moments when my leadership was slow to rise to the challenge. I made mistakes, learned hard lessons, and faced obstacles that pushed me to the edge. But those tough days taught me more than any success could. They showed me what I’m truly capable of and how resilience is built. I learned to stand up again after falling, to keep moving forward when everything felt stagnant, and to trust in the vision when the path ahead wasn’t clear. A massive thank you to Christian Jensen and Gary Mullen for sticking by me, guiding me through those moments of doubt, and pushing me to lead with strength and conviction. To all the affiliates and traders out there, I’m extending an invitation to join us on this journey. We’re building something special in Africa’s retail trading space, and the road ahead is full of potential. The challenges will continue, but so will the growth. Together, we’ll make this a success.
