🗣️ Startup: "Developers get to decide, and they will choose us." 👥 Investor: "Yes, but in 5 years, will developers even matter?" How to answer this question? 😬 The PuzzlesCloud team, led by Ivan Tomic and Johannes Hertel, is tackling the problem of lagging tech docs behind the newest software update, which is live on prod. Their solution is 👉 ‘As-code’ workspace that: ✅ Connects documentation with Agile development. ✅ Reuses content for Wiki, Web, and Word natively. ✅ Accelerates updates and releases at a software pace. Here are the results from case studies so far: ⏱️ -30% time to release 💰 -65% total cost ⏱️ -60-80% time estimate with AI introduction Amazing improvement in solving the problem that plagues developers worldwide! 🌎 On the diagram of #Agility and #Reusability, the team beats its competition, including GitBook, Writerside, Overleaf, Confluence, Document360, and Google Docs, proving there is yet room to grow and obtain market share in this fragmented market without a clear leader. The team presented detailed KPIs and ARR expectations for 2024, followed by a conservative ask of 300k EUR for their seed round. The presentation was concise, numbers-driven, and conservative, just as one would expect of a startup founded by experts with over 20+ years in IT individually and over a century of experience cumulatively. 😀 So far, so good. ✅ Yet During the Q&A session, mentor Brigitte Baumann Gervais challenged the startup by asking: "Will software developers exist in 4 years, and if they do, will they still use this, or will they have such a different way of working that this will become obsolete?" The team replied: "on a conceptual level, we have something huge: self-writing software. We have the documentation down now, and we are going to the next thing, but that is a different software we are working on." It was good to hear that this startup is not only aware of the #AI disruption but is actively working on a product that will supplement this one in the future. 👏 👏 👏 --------------------------------------- Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Fond za inovacionu delatnost EU u Srbiji The World Bank
