The truth is there's no one-size-fits-all answer. It depends on a whole bunch of factors like: ->The competition ->Your website's age & authority ->The keyword's difficulty ->The quality of your backlinks So, instead of focusing on a magic number, focus on quality. How to increase quality? (I hear you asking) Focus on these points: ->Get links from relevant websites -> Create high-quality content -> Don't go for black hat methods -> Engage in forums related to your industry ->Identify broken links and offer your content -> Share your content on social media platforms ->Optimize your website for local search Instead of a quick fix remember that backlinks are a long-term strategy. ................ Let’s say you’re looking to hire someone to fill a position in your company, but you can’t interview them. You can look at their resume, their social media profiles, etc., but you have to hire them without bringing them in for an interview. Pretty tough, right? It’s doable. You can certainly glean a lot of information from what they put out on the internet about themselves, but wouldn’t it be so much easier if you could just bring them in and ask them about their credentials and work experience? Setting up your Google My Business page is a lot like letting Google interview you. It’s a way of directly telling Google the kinds of products/services you provide and where you provide them. With or without a GMB page, Google will crawl your website and try to infer from the content, meta tags, etc. what kinds of searches it should pair you with, but it’s very time consuming. By contrast, if you have a GMB page, especially if you take the time to optimize it, Google doesn’t have to guess. Google will know right away what you provide and where you provide it, which makes it much easier for Google to put you in front of the people who are looking for you. But there was a key word in there: optimize. You can’t just set up a GMB page with the bare minimum amount of information and expect it to drive results for your business. #googlemybusiness #seostrategy

Why none of the websites in your portfolio ranking on the first page of Google? Many job interviewers often ask this question. Unfortunately, most candidates answer incorrectly! Not sure what to say? Here are some tips to avoid making a bad impression. ❌ "It's the website's fault" or "The developer isn't good" ❌ "The client's product isn't good" or "Their work quality is low" ❌ "Competitors are better" or "There's no audience" What to Say Instead: ✔ Be Honest and Contextual: At that time, the industry was highly competitive, and we focused on building foundational SEO strategies. [Russian version in 1st comment] How to manage the flow to recruit the best marketers? Typically in hiring, as in sales, a quantitative approach is used: many responses, several stages and only few who will make it through the funnel to the end. Three ways to create a flow: 1. Connections 2. Sourcing 3. Screening Of course, it is better to choose people who have already been personally verified or call on recommendation. This is obvious so let’s dive into detail on the 2 and 3 methods right away. • Sourcing = outbound search in databases and Linked-In. Usually this is the way to look for either rare IT specialists or "Executive Search & Management Selection", which means: the head role and above or a narrow specialist for niche functionality. And marketing, in general, is one of those categories where you can collect 300+ resumes without any outreach. But how to properly select them later... • Screening = methods of filtering incoming responses. So that by resume, digital footprint and phone interview, only the best are allowed to the body of the hiring manager. And the mistakes here… 1. There is no single approach to "scanning" applicants, everything is subjective and based on intuition of the parties involved. 2. The test task is used incorrectly: - either they test too early, after the recruiter and before the candidate has talked to the potential superior and is interested; - or make it too complex or biased for evaluation. Briefly, how’s better: The hiring manager should formalize the profile and checklist for the recruiter to go through for uniformity of evaluation, both at the resume level and at the initial acquaintance stage. Similarly with the criteria of the test task — describe in advance what will indicate good / poor / average performance. And try qualifying questions for job seekers before responding to a job posting or a small survey immediately after — just do not make a test out of it. Systematization helps not only with marketing itself, but also with team building in order to do marketing.

TOP-7 questions worth asking your SMM or Marketer during a job interview ⬇️ (so that it turns crystal clear for you if the expert really knows his/her stuff, or just blindly does some trends copy-pasting without a strategic backbone) Finding a truly worthy specialist is tough (I feel your pain). But if you're not savvy in marketing, you're just relying on your trust, with your eyes wide shaft. Worse: you’re wasting your time (and money, as a final sacrifice) ✋🏻 Instead, ask your candidate: 1️⃣ To suggest at least one additional Sales channel for your business niche BESIDES Social Media platforms (should you seek for a Marketer) 2️⃣ To come up with a hypothesis for an Instagram content funnel in your niche, specifying how exactly the person’s going to test it (should you seek for an SMM) 3️⃣ To propose several ways to increase engagement in Stories (SMM) 4️⃣ To explain how ROMI is calculated (Marketer) 5️⃣ To clarify which metrics to use to evaluate the effectiveness of Influence Marketing (SMM) 6️⃣ To reveal the methods used to evaluate lead qualification in previous projects (for both SMM & Marketer) 7️⃣ To highlight the most costly mistake made in previous projects (both SMM & Marketer) You’ll thank me later ❤️

Dear Companies and Interviewers, (with all due respect) During interviews for digital marketing roles, it has become apparent that many interviewers expect candidates to be experts in multiple specialised fields such as SEO, Google Ads, affiliate marketing, graphic design, social media management, content creation, and website development. While all these areas contribute to a successful digital marketing strategy, it is important to recognise that they each require unique skill sets and expertise. (Please understand this) Expecting one individual to excel in every aspect of digital marketing is unrealistic and counterproductive. Instead, if your goal is to assess a candidate's flexibility and ability to handle diverse tasks, a more effective approach would be to incorporate situational or scenario-based questions. This will provide better insight into how a candidate applies their knowledge and adapts to challenges, rather than simply asking if they can manage multiple, distinct types of work. By refining your interview process, you can gain a more accurate understanding of a candidate's strengths, ensuring they align with the specific needs of your organisation.
