Is photography difficult? Like any skill, it has to be learned, practiced and repeated to become good at it but is it difficult? No, you just press a button and the camera takes a shot. That is not difficult, anyone can do that, that is what smart phone photography consists of and we cal all do that. The smart phone sorts everything out for you, so can a camera so all you have to do is press a button. Easy. So where is the skill? ISO, Aperture and shutter speed, the three elements of photography, get one of the three wrong and you won't have a picture, your smart phone does all of this for you, so do cameras in auto mode, the phone or camera decides how your photo will look. Still easy. Composition. What you are photographing, where it is in the frame and what your subject is doing. This your phone or camera will not do for you, this is entirely up to you, suddenly not so easy and much more complex. Now the real killer. Your relationship with your subject. Oh, and more, what do you want your photograph to say and communicate? Your phone or camera can't do this bit for you either, this can be a deal breaker. It doesn't matter what you are photographing, landscapes, animals, people, buildings, interiors, products, what is your relationship with your subject and what do you want to say? My specialist subject is people and recognition, I get to know people and how valued they feel, I then create photography that shows and communicates that and I build that into a narrative and a story that I can then strategise so the photographs generate as much impact as possible. Your phone or camera can't to any of that. So yes, photography is easy if you just point and click without thought or purpose. Photography only works through understanding and communication, this is my skill set. Can I help you? #masterclass #expertise #skillset #peoplephotography #businessphotography #employeerecognition #teambuilding #corporatesocialresponsibility #hr #peopleskills

1st world problem - I want to learn photography. Not just to take photos...no, I want to make better images with AI. I recently found an article about image prompting, and it's a completely different ball game than engineering prompts for text responses. I didn't give much thought to the article until I saw another LinkedIn post (I wish I could find it) in which someone shared the prompt they used to create a super lifelike image that would be hard to distinguish from real-life. After doing some more research, here's what I learned should be included in your image prompts at a minimum: • Image type (painting, 90s photo, 3D render, etc.) • Subject (what is the painting about) • Context (what surrounds the subject) • Details (the miscellaneous stuff) • Style (Van Gogh, Studio Ghilbi, etc.) Including these will make decent enough photos. But if you want to take it a step further (as I do), you should also strive to include the following: • Lighting • Framing • Lens & Camera Lighting, framing, and lens & camera are things I have no experience with, which is why I want to learn photography. Does anyone have any good tips or resources I could use? Comment below! #artificialintelligence #aiart In case you are curious, here's the prompt I used for today's image: Create a photo of a young, cheerful man sitting by a window, nice camera in his hands, staring off into the distance, natural lighting (the only type of lighting I know 😂)

Day 4: of the 30-Day LinkedIn Series: Deep Dive into Photography and Videography for Beginners. The Power of Light: Understanding Natural and Artificial Lighting Summary: Lighting is one of the most critical elements in photography and videography. It shapes the mood, highlights details, and adds depth to your images. Natural light is often the most accessible and can be incredibly beautiful when used correctly. Learn to read and work with it—understand how different times of day (like golden hour) or weather conditions affect your shots. But don’t shy away from artificial lighting either. Tools like softboxes, reflectors, and even basic lamps can help you control the light in your scene, adding drama or softening shadows. The key is to experiment with different lighting setups to see how they transform your work. Conclusion: Mastering light means mastering your art. Whether it’s natural or artificial, understanding how to use light will elevate your work, making it more dynamic and visually compelling.

If you're in furniture, and are still relying 100% on photography, you're literally burning money and time. Let me break it down step by step 👇 The Traditional Photoshoot Process: 1️⃣ Wait for your product to arrive from the manufacturer to start 2️⃣ Start the planning of the photoshoot with your team 3️⃣ Find a (good) photographer that is available 4️⃣ Find a location that is available and close 5️⃣ Find a good set designer and props 6️⃣ Transport everything to the set 7️⃣ Shoot, rearrange, iterate 8️⃣ Editing and selection 9️⃣ Review + feedback 🔟 Get final images 🧮 The Bottom Line? 👉 Total time? At least 2-3 weeks 👉 Total cost? $5,000 - $30,000 depending on the scale 👉 Total photos? Typically ~100-500 unique photos Now, the AI Way with Presti (YC S24): 1️⃣ Don’t wait for the product – Just use the pack shots you already have 2️⃣ Upload to Presti – Generate literally hundreds of images 3️⃣ Edit photos – Relight, Accessorize, Enhance to 4K, ... And you're done! 🤯 👉 Total time? 1-2 hours 👉 Total cost? A few $ 👉 Total Photos? ∞ of unique photos Compare that with traditional photography, and it’s clear… You’re burning time and money if you’re not leveraging AI. --------- "But Hamza what's the ROI?" I’ve built a calculator to show you exactly how much you could save by switching to AI (link in the first comment).

Well, it’s true: AI + Photoshop can transform how you create lifestyle images for your products. But let’s keep it real It’s not a magic button, and it doesn’t happen in minutes. It requires 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 and some 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞-𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠. And yes, some products are a little harder to crack than others. But here’s the breakthrough: instead of waiting weeks and spending a fortune on a full photoshoot, you can start with a product photo, generate a lifestyle image using AI, and then refine it in Photoshop for that perfect finish. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲? Sure, it’s not instant, but it’s light years ahead of the traditional process. You start with a simple product image, and with AI and Photoshop, you turn it into a polished lifestyle shot—without needing props, models, or a full-scale photoshoot. 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐬: A basic product photo transformed into a stunning lifestyle image, thanks to AI and some Photoshop magic. ⚡𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭-𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐥𝐝-𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲.
