Spatial apps should adapt to their context! Current XR systems fail to take into account the full power of spatial technology - that apps can exist anywhere, in any context. Lets envision a future where apps can adapt - growing and shrinking based on where they are in space - hand/head/body/wall/bookshelf/table/♾️ This prototype was heavily inspired by Mark Weiser's 1991 article "The Computer for the 21st Century". In this, Weiser lays out his vision for ubiquitous computing, describing interaction forms defined as tabs, pads, and boards. (https://lnkd.in/e5sxCHqj) Now we live in the future, Tabs, Pads + Boards can be seen everywhere, in the form factors of computers we use (smartwatches // phones // tvs) and in the operating systems we interact with (widgets // phone apps // pc apps).
