EURO 2024 LAST MAN STANDING - In aid of Kipawa 💛 There’s just one day to go now until Euro 2024 kicks off, and we're delighted to announce a "Last Man Standing" competition: You will get a chance to WIN a prize pot of cash whilst helping vulnerable children and families in Kenya too! Entry is just £5. How to play: 1.⁠ ⁠For each round of the Euros you will select one team to win their game. 2.⁠ ⁠If your selected team wins, you continue to the next round. If your team loses or draws, you are out of the competition. 3.⁠ ⁠In the group stages, you will have three rounds of matches and you must pick a different team for each round. 4.⁠ ⁠For the round of 16 matches, we will reset: you can choose any team for that round but you must then choose a different team for the Quarter Final round, Semi-Final round and then Final. 5.⁠ ⁠The last player standing wins 20% of the overall pot, or £100 – whichever is higher! If more than one is left standing, you share the winnings. As an example, let’s say you pick Scotland to beat Germany in round 1 and that does indeed happen. You might then choose England to beat Denmark in round 2, and then Spain to beat Albania in round 3. If all your teams win, that means you are through to the Round of 16; then, you’d be allowed to choose Spain again. If they win, you could pick the Netherlands for the QF, and then Italy for the SF. And so on…it gets more difficult. There are special rules in place for taxpayers who make gifts of land and buildings to charity. This can include Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax (CGT) relief provided all the necessary conditions are met. There are also reliefs available where taxpayers sell a property to a charity for less than its market value.
