👷♂️ How Grassroots Advocacy Paved the Way for Minto Florida’s New City 👷♂️ As housing becomes an increasingly urgent issue, our work with Minto Group Florida to help develop the new city of Westlake was not only timely but transformative. This project was about more than just urban development—it was about turning a vision into reality by transforming a 3,800-acre citrus grove into one of Palm Beach County's most innovative master-planned communities. Facing strong opposition, we worked to mobilize the local community and engage key stakeholders to support the project. Rather than relying solely on traditional lobbying, our grassroots approach helped gain momentum, turning skepticism into support. Working with John Carter, AICP, Senior Vice President at Minto Communities, was one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.
